Dreadful Day

Taylah's POV:

That question just had to be asked didn't it. That question is the one I feared the most. The one I was embarrassed to answer. It just had to come up. I didn't know I was just staring out into space until my father nudged me with his elbow.

" Um, I don't know. It just did. All I know is that we have to protect the humans and defend the world from all evil. We just have to kill the evil and restore the world back to the way it was." I stated.

I feel bad for lying to my family. I had to do it though. I had to lie or else they would figure out how much of a failure I really was. How irresponsible I was. I could never let that happen. I would be looked down on. They would treat me like a child, I hate that. I hate it when people look at you and immediately think your a child. It's almost as if they think your smaller than them.

I think it's time I go for a run. From when I was in the hospital to now I wanted to see what my wolf actually looked like, instead of my imagination. As soon as everyone was gone, including Kathy and Angus. I walked up to my father.

"Daddy, can I please go for a run? I wanna see what I actually look like, instead of my imagination" I asked politely.

He nodded his head and I ran out the door. I ran to the closet forest which was about a km away. I looked to make sure it was clear and I listened to make sure there were no wolf hunters. Once I was certain there were no hunters I ran into the centre of the forest and shifted.

I looked down to see my paws. They were purple. PURPLE!? what the hell? I continued to look up my legs to see only my paws were purple. The rest of me was white. Thank god. I ran around in circles trying to catch a glimpse of what my tail looked like and I noticed the the tip of my tail was also purple. All of a sudden this full body mirror was in front of me. I yelped because it scared me. On the top left hand corner there was a note. It said:

' Hey bub, I saw that you were having a bit of difficulty seeing what you looked like so I got this to help. Love always, Daddy.'

Gawd, I love my Dad too much. I looked in the mirror and saw a beautiful white wolf. It had light purple tips on it's paws, tail and ears. It was absolutely beautiful. I was too caught up with admiring myself when this big wolf came tumbling on top of me. It was Black. Just a pitch black wolf. It was very frightening, but I'm not backing down.

He composed himself from when I pushed him off me and into a tree. He stood growling and walking very intimidatingly towards me. I stood equally as high and growled louder than him.We began circling each other. Wow, this male is not giving up! It truly was Black vs White.

We both tried to snap at each others tails but we both failed. I shifted to show him I'm not afraid. He shifted as well and I saw a Girl. Wow! It was a girl, I really thought it was a male. Now I really do know looks can be deceiving. She spat at my feet showing me heaps of disrespect. How dare she?!

" HOW DARE YOU SPIT AT MY FEET!" I shouted at her.

In reply she just shrugged her shoulders. She really did look evil. She had black long hair. She wore almost like a witches costume you would find at a shop on Halloween and to top it all off she wore skeleton necklaces. Don't even get me started on the piercings.

" What do you want with me anyway?" I asked.

" I was sent here to kill you by my Alpha" She stated calmly.

"And I'm known for doing my job." She said. She shifted and pounced on me, biting my neck. I felt my soul falling and falling out of my body. I stopped falling and heard a faint voice saying 'Taylah?' Then the pain was too unbearable and I fell completely into the darkness.

Hey Guys. Have you started reading my other book. Although it only has 1 chapter up you should definitely read it. It's different to this. It's about a Girl named Delilah and she is a vampire.
