Wait What?

Taylah's POV:

Ugh. Ugghhhhhh. God freaking English is boring. No one cares what nouns, pronouns, adverbs are we just use words we don't need to know what type of word they are. I looked around the room and Kathy was sitting next to me. I guess she doesn't like this class either because she's dazing off. I ripped out a piece of paper from by book and got a pen and wrote on the paper:

'Hey wanna ditch?.'

I folded up the paper and nudged Kathy. She snorted and woke up. I was trying to hold in my laughter and I quickly chucked the piece of paper on her desk and turned back to the teacher. She kicked my foot to get my attention, so I turned around and she was nodding her head wildly. I giggled a bit and I raised my hand. The teacher locked eyes with me and said:

"Ugh Taylah, my favourite student, what do you want?" Wow this teacher really knows how to use sarcasm. I give her a mental reward for that.

"Uh, me and Kathy-"

"Kathy and I" she interrupted me

"Kathy and I want to go shopping." I said staring into her eyes and making sure the mind control is working.

"Fine go have fun" she replied almost sounding like a robot.

"Thanks" I grabbed Kathy and pulled her out of the seat and looped her arms with mine.

I was just about to walk out the door with her when I remembered something. I switched the mind control on again and locked eyes with the teacher. I sent her a mind message saying:

'If any teachers ask, say that we were sick and we had to go home'

She nodded her head signalling she heard it. She turned around and started blabbering on about what adverbs of manner are. I took this time to yank Kathy out of the room.

"So what you wanna do?" I asked

"How about we go to the mall?"

"Sure, but do you have money?"

She looked down and frowned.

"Ok then, don't worry about it I can pay for you."

"Taylah that isn't necessary."

"Oh but it is." I said wiggling my eyebrows.

We were walking to the mall when I caught a god awful human scent. I looked around and saw him. He was just walking on the street with the skank that used to be my best friend. If you haven't caught on yet it was Will and Sarah who is now his girlfriend. I rushed Kathy into a alley and waited till they passed.

" be quiet, ok?" I whispered to her.

She nodded her head in response. We waited for a while until I couldn't smell the scent. Once it was gone I pulled Kathy out and started walking again.

"Okay, what was that?" She asked curiously.

"Um, nothing." As soon as I said that she pulled on my arm making me stop and she looked into my eyes, like I how I stare into someone's eyes when I'm reading their mind.

Maybe she's a- nope that's not possible. She can't be she's too perfect. After she was done analysing my eyes she had a sympathetic look on her face but it quickly got wiped away.

-AFTER THE MALL-

"Wow I'm buggered" I whined

"Me too, and thank you. I owe you heaps."

"Oh don't worry about it, I have enough money to buy the whole world."

She shrugged off my last comment and walked to a bench.

~ Taylah, Taylah. I only just woke up from my nap and I can smell her!!~

-smell who sky?-

~ it's my old best friend Annabelle~

-do you know where she is?-

~uh duh!, her owners name is Kathy, Kathy Lopez.~

I thought about it before I blocked Skyla out. Wow I have been doing that a lot. I walked over to Kathy and sat down next to her.

"Hey Kathy, what's your last name?" I asked.

"Oh, it's Lopez. Why?" She answered both of my questions.

"Don't worry just wanting to know." I said and quickly looked away so she couldn't read my mind.

There are 2 things I know are true.

1. Kathy has a inner wolf named Annabelle.

2. She is a werewolf.

"I think we should get going. Wanna go to my house?" I asked.

"Uh sure." She answered.

We were walking on my street when she said:

" hey, how about we go for a run?" She asked.

" uh what? In this?" I said gesturing to my clothes.

" come on Taylah who are you trying to kid, I know what you are."

" seriously?! How?"

" think about it: the teacher allowing us out of class, spacing out when I was talking to you, completely, out of nowhere questions about my name. Taylah it all adds up. It's fine your a werewolf."

"Well if it makes this problem any better, I know what you are too."

"How did you know what I am?"

"Well my wolf Skyla kinda gave it away and I had my suspicions."

"Wow, guess all that's cleared up then. How about that run?"

"Sure beat you there"

I already know we are gonna be the best of friends.
