Chapter 20

/red's pov/

I couldn't concentrate. I left Jaida's house in the middle of the night. I had been walking around until about 11:00 am. There was a large crowd of girls by the Nike shop. I tried to walk around them until one girl walked in front of me.

"IT'S AUSTIN!" She screamed, as the whole crowd came running at me. I tried to walk away but people were clawing at me, and touching my beanie.

"Get off of me." I said, trying to run.

They were too fast. But then I realized.. They probably wanted my drugs.

"Rocco sent you, didn't he?" I asked. I pulled out bags of different drugs from my pocket. They looked at me weird.

"Austin..." A girl said, tears coming from her eyes.

"My name is Carter. I don't know where Austin is, alright kid?"

The girls just stood there. Cars were honking because they took up the whole street. I opened up my backpack and dumped all the drugs out of it.

"Oh wait," I said, pulling more drugs out of my shoe."

Girls were bawling. I was so confused, so I just walked away.

Zach was calling.

"Come over." He said.

I looked back before I started walking to Zach's. The group of girls were still standing there, watching every step I took.
When I got to Zach's house, I heard laughing from the living room.

"Meet Austin." Zach smiled.

"He is famous." Tailyn said winking at him.

"He's a singer." Jaida added.

Jaida was sitting right next to him. He was signing her arm. He was talking to her, and she was giggling. He looked a lot like me. Except he smiled. He laughed. He sang. He looked like a teen heartthrob. It bothered me that he was talking to Jaida. He probably talks to every girl.

"Can you sing for us?" Jaida asked.

He winked at her.

"This one goes for you, Jaida."

He began singing his song "11:11." I thought that I would vomit. Everyone enjoyed it, but I just sat there and stared into space.

"How was the song?" he asked.

Jaida clapped so loud. Her smile was huge. I just rolled my eyes.

"Austin's awesome." Alex said, giving him a high five.

For about an hour, everyone talked about him.

"I should get going." Jaida said.

"Me too." I added.

I walked out the door with her.

"He's so cool." she said.

"Yup."

She took her phone out of her pocket and began reading her text. She started laughing really hard.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh nothing, it's just Austin..."
