Chapter 31

/jaidas pov/

I was doing my homework. It's been a week since the fake Red went to jail. Red told me about him. He said that the fake red was really Austin Mahone. He told me that Austin had been fantasizing over me, and his way of getting me was to pretend to be someone close to me. Tailyn cried.

"That wasn't Austin!" She screamed when I told her. She boiled with anger and she refused to talk, or even look at him. I believe that the Red that I'm with is the real Red. The one that I love. I always will. He came in through my front door and I heard him run up the stairs. He flew onto the bed and looked at me.

"How about we stop this homework and chill out for a bit."

I jumped off the bed. I just kept on repeating no. Lately he's been wanting things that.. I'm not committed enough to do. He's changed. That's all I can say. Since I've never been in a relationship that's lasted this long, I want it to stay as long as possible. I can't leave him.. I think I might love him.

He looked angry but shook it off. I'm glad he did because I'd feel horrible if I allowed myself to have sex with him.

"I'm out," he said. And with that, he walked out of the house. I wanted to cry. Could my relationship really be in danger because of this? I began to do my homework again.

A couple hours later, my phone rang.

"Come to the park." Makayla texted. Makayla was one of my bestfriends. I haven't talked to her in so long. She hung out with Vanessa. They drifted away from Red's crew after while. I smile whenever I get a text at least once a month from her. I ran out of the house and got to the park down the street. I had troubles looking for Makayla.

"Makayla?!" I said, walking around again. The bathroom door popped open, and Makayla and Red came out. Red's hair was a mess, and he was putting his shirt back on.

"Woah, when did you get here?" Red asked.

I exploded with tears. Niagra Falls fell out of my eyes. I was panting for breath and I couldn't stop yelling. Makayla chased after me.

"You don't understand. You guys are broken up!"

"No we're not!" I wailed, tears were everywhere.

She tried hugging me, but I pushed her away. Red did nothing. He didn't care. And he was no longer the guy I fell in love with.

/austin's pov/

I'm starting to regret everything I did to Jaida. Now she hates Red, and thinks Austin (me.) is some sort of creeper. My goal was to get Jaida. I'm so stupid. I walked over to her house. I knocked on the door instead of just walking in. I needed to be a gentleman.

Jaida's mom answered.

"She doesn't want to talk to you." She said.

I looked at her straight in the eyes.

"This is important. Everything's in danger."

/red's pov/

It was 10:00 pm. Me and my inmate buddy Mi'Ca snuck down into the laundry chute. Mi'Ca has taken our files from the offices before dinner also. This was so that they couldn't find our records and arrest us since we escaped. We sat in the dark, empty laundry room for an hour. We made sure everyone was gone, and suddenly, she went to open the window.

"They should just take away all windows from jails. It's so easy to escape!" She said. She took a clip out of her hair and stuck onto the lock on the window. I don't understand how she did it, but within seconds we were outside.

"These orange suits are glow in the dark. I hope you have clothes on under that or else you'll be butt naked trying to escape. There is no way the cameras will see us if we don't have those suits." She whispered as she pulled her orange uniform off. She had a long dress that she probably had kept for awhile so that she could leave or escape jail in style. I had my outfit I was wearing when i got arrested except for the shoes and the beanie, which would have completed the outfit. We got on the floor and crawled under the fences. Finally after about 30 minutes, she looked up at the sky. The cold rain hit our bodies like tidal waves. She jumped up and down. She smiled wide.

"We're free, can you believe it?"
