/austin's pov/

I stood by Jaida's bedroom door. It was wide open and she knew I was there, but she never said a word.

"Please-"

"It's fine. Everything's fine." she interrupted.

"Do you hate me?"

It was awkwardly quiet for a long amount of time, and then suddenly she said "A little."

I ranted. I ranted about how sorry I felt, and how stupid I was and how sad she looked. She finally accepted the apology.

I left Mi'Ca at the end of the road. I was going to give her money so that she'd be alright, but I knew she had a drug addiction, and I knew she'd use all that money on the drugs. That's what I would have done. I was getting close to Jaida's house. I was hoping Austin wasn't there, but I knew he was going to be. The rain had been getting worse, and I was already soaked by the time I got to her house. I didn't have much strength to climb up to the window, so I chose to go through the door. I knocked, and I knew her mom was at work. It would be like in the movies when the girl would hug her boyfriend when she opened the door, and it would be all emotional. I knocked on the door. It really took awhile.

He apologized. But it wasn't acceptable. What he did is something I'll remember for a very long time. When I told him that everything was okay, and that I loved him, he smiled. And I smiled too. But then I realized he smiled.

"Uh... You smiled?" I said.

He smiled even bigger.

"Of course I did! This is awesome!" He said, which bothered me more. It hit me. This isn't Red.

"Shit!" I yelled. I pushed him as hard as I could.

"Stop, Jaida!"

~Red's POV~

I thought I would just walk in. I got tired of waiting, and I knew she was home.

"I hate you!" I heard her scream. I sat on the steps, the rain made me look like I took a shower with my clothes on.

I could see through the door that she was standing there, pissed off. Austin hugged her. I would have came in there, but I didn't want her to freak out or get overwhelmed by two boys that look the same. She pushed him off.

"You're not Red! Get off of me!"

I didn't know if I should go in there. It would be weird if I just came in right when she said my name, and I was like "I am home." I thought I'd go downstairs in the living room and watch tv. But I didn't want her to see me. I sat there, just watching MTV, and I heard Austin running down the stairs. So I hid.

"I swear I'm Red!" He screamed.

"No you're not. That is a problem."

"You're a bitch. I don't want you anyways!"

Austin slammed the door. She sat there crying.

I walked up to her, and hugged her from behind.

"A real man should never call you a bitch."

"Red..." She whispered. She hugged me for what seemed like hours. I told every detail about what happened. I just needed to figure out how to tell my crew.

"You sang in concerts?! That's siiiiick." Robert said. I told them about the awards shows and the awesome clothes I could keep. I told them all something that I never had told them all before.

"His mother looked like my own.. Mother..."

Their eyes all got wide.

"I TOLD YOU ALL! They are twins! I have to be right about this since I was right about the whole Red and Austin switch." Tailyn said.

Everyone agreed.

"I don't want to be related to that tragedy. I hate him."

"But it could be possible..."

"Call your 'mom'," Jaida added.

I dialed the number that I had learned from months on tour with her. It felt good having a mother figure like that.

"Hello?"

"Hi, my name is Carter.. My friends call me Red. And I'm pretty sure you're my uh..."

"Mother." Alex finished.

"Oh my gosh."
