/robert's pov/

I took him to the hospital. He screamed, and spazzed.

"I fucking hate you!' he choked on his own blood. He held his chest and layed in the back seat. I had to take him to the hospital, even if he didn't want to. I sped all the way there, and the car was silent. He coughed occasionally, but when he was silent it scared me the most. No matter how "bad" we look, I will always look out for him. He's my best friend.

"Red, don't stop coughing, make any noise. Just please don't close your eyes."

He coughed, sometimes on purpose to show me that he was okay.

"If you tell Jaida what happened, I'll be pissed,"

"I know, Red; you always are. Keep talking."

"I don't know what to talk about," he said.

"Okay... Just, uhm.. Talk about what makes you happy,"

"You guys."

I never said anything, I just smiled at him. But it made me think a lot. We always teased him about never smiling, we always told him to toughen up, and stop being wimpy. But we did it for fun. He hadn't told me until about a year ago that he had been having a rough childhood. I cannot blame his anger and depression on his abusive father, I blame it on myself, the crew, and most definitely Rocco.

Speaking of Rocco, the boys had him.

I picked Red's tall body up and set him down in a wheel chair left by the entrance of the hospital, he was blinking constantly; trying so hard not to close his eyes.

The lady at the front desk stopped me as I tried running down the hallway to get Red into a room.

"Sir! You must sit in the waiting room until the doctor is ready for you!"

"I get it, there are people who have it worse them him right now" and then I looked around in the waiting room. "Wait, no one has it worse them him right now, so get your stuck up ass over here and get him into a room!"

She rushed his wheelchair into the room, and I followed behind her. They told me that I couldn't come with into the emergency room, which really scared me. All the movies had the people in the waiting room, staring into space. Soon, the doctor would come in and tell them that the surgery went wrong. But this didn't happen, I guess.

I woke up and it was a bright morning. No one was in the waiting room, and the lady at the front desk smiled at me.

"You can check on him," she said.

I hurried into the room, leaving everything behind on the waiting room chair. He layed in the bed, with bandages surrounding him.

"I can kinda breath now, Robert."

I nodded.

"That's good."

Jaida called.

"Is everything okay? Where are you guys?" she panicked.

"Everything's fine. We just thought we would stay at a hotel for a bit. It was too late to go home." I told her.
