Being Red at school was fun. He had bad grades, and never had to listen to the teachers. I could sit in class, and talk with my friends. The teachers wouldn't do anything. They gave up on trying to yell at him awhile ago. At times, I actually wanted to do the work. I felt bad making the teachers give up on me. I wonder if Red sometimes understood what the teachers were trying to say, or maybe he would just zone them out and text people.
The teacher passed out the graded tests. Jaida got a perfect grade, of course. Smart girls are my weakness. The teacher passed the test to me. It didn't have any writing on it. Red didn't do it. I wanted to shun him. But of course, telling him what to do would make him explode.
"Are you ditching?" Jaida asked.
"Obviously not," I said. Why would I do that?
"Why not? You've been acting different lately."
I ignored her statement. I just stared at the paper.
Red is a horrible person.

I stood on stage, answering fan's questions before the concert.
"Have you ever been in love before?" the fan asked.
I stared at the ground.
"Yes, with all of my mahomies." Thousands of loud screams filled the stadium.
I sang my heart out. But it was still the weirdest thing in the world. I hated singing. And I hated not being able to see Jaida. I wanted to be around her. I wanted to talk to my friends. I wanted them to know the truth, but no. To them, I am some star.

I sat in the library with Red's friends.
"There is something seriously wrong with him," I whispered.
They all looked at each other.
"Exactly,"
"I feel so awkward talking to him. He's just so... Confused. Whenever I ask him something he's like "I do that?" and don't get me started on taking pictures! He takes a picture of us every hour. I'm just so freaked out. "
Louis laughed.
"We'll straighten out his act for ya."

I walked up to the boys. I saw them through the library window. They stopped talking once they saw me.
"Let's go out for a smoke," Alex said.
I nodded. I never had smoked before. Do you think I'd make a fool out of myself?
He handed me the cigarette out in the parking lot.
"My throat kinda hurts right now. I'll have one once it feels better," I shivered.
He rolled his eyes at me. He took me by the collar.
"Be a man." He whispered.
"Be a fuckin' man." he said again.
I backed away.
He took the cigarette out of his mouth, and stomped on it.
"You're losing Jaida, big guy,"
Alex walked away, and put his arm around Jaida.
"You okay?" he asked her.
"You got him thinking that we aren't together, Alex..."
"It's fine. If Red straightened out his act, he would be coming to talk to you. He apologizes."
She nodded.
I can't be Red. No.

I sat at Olive Garden with a fan.
"I'm so happy that I won this sweepstakes. This is my dream come true. You're perfect!" She squealed.
"I'm glad that I made your day, honey."
"Can you follow me on Twitter? Pleeeease?" she asked.
I pulled out my phone. I got a text message from Austin.
"I messed up things between me and Jaida. I'm sorry." My face started to get red.
"How?"
"She said I haven't been acting normal lately. And Alex got angry and screamed."
"You're a little pussy."
"...Oh."
"If I could laugh, I really would."
"Shut up,"
"Say sorry, or I really will get angry."
"I'm trying..."
I started talking to the fan again.
"I followed you on twitter."
She clapped her hands like a seal.
I took a picture with the fan. She kissed me on the cheek. I sent it to Austin.
"Your fans love me."
"They love who they think is ME. So you're wrong." Austin texted back.
A picture from Austin popped up on the screen. There was Jaida. She was standing on her tip-toes. They were kissing.
"Jaida loves me..." Austin stated.
Red felt a sudden rush of anger. He got up.
"Austin, are you alright!?" The fan screamed.
I took the table and flipped it. Everyone screamed as food fell onto their faces.
I rushed out of Olive Garden. It was snowing and my breath was shown in the air. My pink cheeks could be seen from a mile away. I thought he'd walk around town for a bit.
"There you are!" Jaida screamed as she kissed him.
"I'm being Austin right now..."
She looked at me funny.
"What are you talking about?" She whispered into the cold air.
"Nothing."
She put her hand into mine as they began walking down the sidewalk. I really wanted to be happy, but I didn't feel right. I knew Austin would come out of some building and see that I was with Jaida. Jaida had no clue she had been with Austin for quite awhile.
He saw his friends. His crew. The people that were there for everything. They rolled their eyes at me. There was Rocco. His smile was from ear to ear. He hugged me.
"HEY SON," he said.
I'm not his son, nor will I ever be.
I pushed him off.
He put his arm around Tailyn. You could see tears forming in her eyes. She scooted off to the side. He took her by the arm and pulled her into the building.
"What's up with them?" Jaida asked.
Everyone shrugged.
I thought I'd go check.
