Phil was asleep still, most likely exhausted. Dan watched him, pushing a piece of his hair out of his face.

Phil lay still, breathing softly as he slept. Dan was in awe at his perfection. Phil was the total package. He was smart, funny, good-looking, and sweet. Dan never thought he could ever be so lucky.

Phil stirred and his eyes fluttered open. Upon seeing Dan's face, he smiled weakly. Dan smiled back, pushing his fringe out of his face again. The sunlight now crept through the window and onto the two still bodies, lighting up Phil's face. His eyes glistened and they both smiled again.

"Morning," Phil said, voice scratchy.

"Losing your voice?" Dan asked.

"No, just tired. I haven't slept since Thursday. Mum just came in once in a while to give me some food and I only got up to use the restroom," Phil stammered.

The brown-haired boy wrapped his arms around Phil and smiled, "Well, I'm here now. It'll all be okay, and we'll never be apart again. Want to go with me today?"

"Where?" Asked Phil.

Dan laughed, "The flats down the street. I need to see about renting one."

"How are you possibly going to pay for it?" Phil asked.

Dan rolled his eyes, "Get a job, of course. I have enough for the first two months of rent, but that's all for now."

"Oh. Well, let's go, then," Phil said.

Dan hopped out of bed, dancing a bit and humming a tune.

"What on earth?" Phil laughed.

"Somebody once told me-"

"No. Dan, no," Phil giggled.

"Yes, Phil, yes," Dan mocked, continuing to goof off.

Phil gave him a shove and stood up, "Go get dressed."

Dan opened Phil's closet and closed the door, "Look, I'm back in the closet."

Phil rolled his eyes and pulled his skinny jeans out of his dresser. Pulling them on, he watched as Dan peeked from the closet doors, then exited. He turned and ruffled through Phil's wardrobe, grabbing his favourite sweater.

"Lester on the back, Howell in the front," Dan said in a sing-song voice.

"What's got you so happy?" Phil chuckled, sticking his head through his tee.

"I'm moving out, silly," Dan said, poking Phil.

"Well, no, I thought you were staying at home," Phil said sarcastically.

"Pfft, no," Dan laughed.

Suddenly, a thought crossed Phil's mind, "Won't you miss your mum and dad?"

"Yeah," Dan started, voice lowering in volume, "But they'll get over it eventually, and I can be all cool with them somehow."

"Okay, just... be wise," Phil said, pecking Dan's lips.
