Halfway through his second month, Phil found a letter in his box. It was a reply from Dan!

Scrambling to open it, his eyes grazed the page.

"Phil,

I think I know exactly how much I love you. I never stopped thinking about you, and it's really killing my grades a lot.

As for your channel, I'm sure I will find it sometime. When I'm bored and don't have homework, I'll find it. I want to see your face again so badly...

I hope that I can find it. I'll comment on every video, like them... Maybe you'll get big, and maybe I can say I'm engaged to the best YouTuber on earth. Although, I suppose that that would be bad for reputation.

I love you more than life itself. I remember that agreement every damn day, and I long for the day that it comes. I can't describe the amount of anxiety it gives me.

I hate this dorm. With a passion. I know yours is small, but I've got to complain.

As for your school question, no. I hate it all. I so badly want out, it's absolutely rancid. The kids are awful. The work is horrendous, and they don't let me draw in class anymore. They've taken away my spirit.

Now, don't get me wrong, Phil. I know I need to try. But it's just so damn hard and I'm struggling. Uni isn't for everyone, now is it?

I'm glad to hear that I can attend your family events, and I will try, but my parents and I have made up. My father had a talk with Mum about "bisexual" and now she seems okay with it. But who knows?

I haven't talked to anyone. The jeweler who sold me your ring goes here, and I think she likes me. I'm just going to avoid her and see where she'll go.

Oh, I found your sweatshirt. Howell in the front, Lester in the back, hmm? Well, I intend to keep it that way, as well. Speaking of which, I left it in your main box. You'll find it, and it will... show itself.

Your true love,

Daniel.

Phil smiled to himself. He still cared, and it was all good and fun. Following Dan's instructions on the letter regarding his gift, Phil opened several boxes. Where would he have put it?

Finally, he found the first box he'd packed and dig to the bottom. A beaten, torn, black covered sketchbook lay in the bottom.

Phil opened it and gasped.

It was as beautiful as he'd imagined.
