Dan finished his pancakes and smiled, "What recipe did you use? Those are fantastic!"

"Delia Smith," Phil said proudly. "Now, let's go!"

Dan was yanked up out of his chair and dragged towards the door, "Phil! I don't even have shoes on!"

Phil yanked him onto the ground and shoved his shoes onto his feet, "You do now!"

Finding himself up and running, Dan smiled at Phil's excitement. Seconds later, Dan went wide-eyed, "Wait! My sketchbook!"

He ran back inside and up the stairs, snatching his book and running back out to grab Phil's hand. Phil smiled and continued to drag him down the street in triumph.

They got on the bus, heading towards the carnival. Phil pushed Dan awake as they arrived and led him off the bus by his arm.

Dan grabbed Phil's hand and began to walk toward the rides, "Which one first?"

"I don't care as long as you're there," Phil replied, shoving Dan a bit.

Dan giggled and began to walk towards the spinning tea cups. Piling into a cup, they strapped in and laughed.

"I don't know how I feel about this," Phil confessed, laughing.

"Pfft, Phil you're a scaredy cat," Dan replied, poking Phil's nose.

Phil puffed out his chest, "Mew."

The boys began to laugh as the ride started, finding themselves spinning wildly. Phil looked over to Dan, who was grinning at Phil.

"Again! Again!" Phil screamed, pulling on Dan's arm.

Dan shook his head, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. No, let's go to the ride with the twists and turns. You know, the one with the corkscrew."

Phil skeptically nodded, "Okay."

They got on and Phil clung to Dan as it started. They were in the very front car, leading the rest behind them.

"Woo!" Dan yelled, putting an arm around Phil. Phil screamed, laughing and clinging to Dan's arm.

Upon exiting, the two of them laughed at each other's faces

Upon exiting, the two of them laughed at each other's faces. Several more rides were ridden, and soon it was darker. The sun was setting, and Dan ordered some food for them both before sitting down.

"I want to go on the ferris wheel," Phil said.

"Do you now?" Dan asked, smirking.

"I do," Phil laughed.

"Well, that's our next stop then," Dan said, smiling.

Click. Pssh. Click. Pssh.

Phil looked around, "Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Dan asked.

"It sounds like a Polaroid..." Phil said.

Click. Pssh.

Phil turned around to hear footsteps rushing off with the sound of laughs.

"It's was nothing, I'm sure," Dan said, putting a hand on Phil's.
