Chapter 28 - I'm in

CARA'S POV:

Waking up this morning I felt surprisingly better then I have the past few days, although my eyes were stinging a little due to crying last night.
As I rubbed my eyes I turned my head to find nothing but a couple of pillows and creased sheets, no Jakob.
I then noticed a hot cup of tea on the bed side table. I was tempted to take a sip but for all I knew it could of been Jakob's.

"It's for you", a voice said from the half opened door.
I look up to find Jakob making his way into the room with a few biscuits in hand. 
"Oh um thanks", I mumbled, trying to brush out my hair a little.
"No worries", he mumbled back. "Here's some biscuits too if you want. I know we are having breakfast soon although, I thought you might of been hungry seeing you didn't eat much last night"

"Jakob I had pizza", I laughed a little.

"yea a piece, that's not enough!"

I giggled yet again. "whatever you say."

Everything then went quite for a solid five minutes as I blew on my hot tea whilst Jakob stood at the end of the bed fiddling with his fingers and every so often taking a sip of his drink.

"Um I think I'm just going to go have a shower, maybe then the tea won't be so hot", I said breaking the silence.

"Ok, I will go grab you a towel"

"No it's ok, I know where they are."

"Cara you're our quest, I will get it. 2 secs", he said before exiting the room.
Shortly after Jakob returned with a white towel in hand. As I went to grab it our hands lightly touched causing our eyes to instantly meet.
I quickly then pulled away and thanked him with a smile before disappearing into the bathroom quickly.

As I turned on the shower I used my left hand to skid over my right where Jakob's skin had just been. His skin was so soft and warm against mine.
As I looked into the mirror I noticed my cheeks to be a light pink colour due to Jakob's touch, how someone could have this effect on me, I would never know.
The sound of the shower water pouring down onto copper tiles then snapped me out of my thoughts as I began to un change before hoping in under the warm water.
The water instantly fell down my back causing my body to relax and shiver due to the spurt of cold water at first.
As It made it's way down my skin I could feel my body instantly warming up.
The water then skidded over my scar on the bottom of my thumb. As I watched the water wash over it memories came flooding back to me. I had had this scar ever since I was little and I would never forget how I had gotten it.

Jakob and I were about 6 years old maybe younger, maybe older when Jakob thought it was a good idea to teach me how to ride a bike on the pavement outside his house. Being the idiot I am I gave into him and let him teach me. Of course this didn't end well as it left me with stitches and a scar to prove my stupidity. Let me tell you Jakob wasn't allowed to come over for a 'play date' for a while after that.

I smiled at this thought as I pulled the shampoo off the shelf and began washing my hair.

Once I had finished in the shower I dried my self off before wrapping the towel around my body and exiting the bathroom.
As soon as I got into the guest bedroom I grabbed out some clothes and underwear to change into which I did.

I then combed out my hair and grabbed out my phone before I heard the shower turn on once again.

As I made my way over to make the bed I found my phone under a few of the sheets.I noticed I had a few messages from some friends from school then 3 from Ethan and 2 from Chris.
