Chapter 10 - Girlfriend?

CARA'S POV: 

I had always been one to overthink everything but this time I was determined to not let my worries take over my thoughts. 

I sat staring blankly into those dazzling brown eyes not being able to say much. I didn't want Jakob to feel any worse so I did the first thing I thought of. 

I put my hand back on his and pulled him in close whispering lightly into his ear. 

"I'm not the perfect one here." 

As I said this a smirk grew on Jakob's face, his soft cheek rubbing up against mine leaving goosebumps up my arms and legs. 

"Yes you are, and don't deny it." He had now got me laying down on my back as he positioned himself nearly on top of me. I was beginning to get worried as he began to lift my shirt, but before I could say anything I was left in a fit of laughter, Jakob was tickling me. His soft hands making there were up and down my stomach as I tried to fight him off.  

"STOPP JAKOB" I screamed over my laughter. 

"Not until you admit your perfect" His hands were now making their way to my back as I started to squirm even more. 

"I guess we will be here all night then" I was now screaming even louder over my laughter, each word coming out after ever giggle. 

"Fine by me." 

JAKOB'S POV: 

One thing that I have learnt over the 15 years Cara and I have been friends is that she is ticklish and I don't mean just a little bit, I mean a lot. 

She began to squirm and giggle a little louder as I made my way up her back. Her hands were now placed on my chest as she tried to push me off but she soon discovered she was too weak as her arms fell back onto her stomach. As her arms fell back it caught me by surprise as I fell even closer down on Cara, our faces only inches apart from each other. I could feel her warm breath on my neck and hear her soft giggles so clear now, her eyes fixed on mine. We stayed there for a while, as I took in everything around me. Her giggles were now gone as a squeal escaped her lips, hurting my ears as she lightly pushed me off. I then slowly turned around to see Mikaila and Cara hugging by my door, way to ruin a perfect kissing opportunity. 

 CARA'S POV: 

"Mikaila!" I squealed as I slowly broke the silence that had fallen between Jakob and I. I lightly pulled Jakob off me as Mikaila wrapped her arms around me tight, her leather jacket rubbing up against my cheek. 

"So sorry Cara I have got some of the band staying over tonight so we won't be able to talk much but we will defiantly have to have out gossip sessions soon don't worry"

"nah all good, Jakob and I were just getting ready for bed anyways" I replied as Jakob pulled himself up from the bed. 

"We were?" he said as he gave me a questioning look. 

"yes we are" I replied cutting Jakob off short. 

"Aha ok little ones, sleep well" Mikaila said as she gave me one last hug before making her way downstairs with her band. 

"you too" I let out as she closed the door behind her. 

"Well now she's gone, do you think we could go back to where we were?" Jakob smirked as he caught me by surprise.

"Very funny Jakob, but remember before you torture me I will torture you. No kisses for you tonight." I laughed as I walked into Jakob's bathroom pulling out one of his shirts on the way. 

Once I was dressed I walked out to find the room empty, at least I thought it was. A head then emerged from behind the cupboard and two arms found them self wrapped around my waist. "No fair" , Jakob had now rested his chin on my shoulder and his lips were almost pressed to my neck. 

"Very fair actually." I then made my way to Jakob's bed moving the sheets as I did so. 

"Why do you do this to me Cara?" Jakob let out as he followed me to his bed. 

"Maybe because sometimes people need to learn that what goes around comes around" now Jakob wasn't the one smirking, I was. 

As I laid my head down those two arms made their way around my waist once again filling my body with warmth. "that included hugs as well" 

"What so I can't hung my girlfriend now?" 

Shit girlfriend? were we dating now? I then decided to push these thoughts aside as I rolled over to face Jakob. 

"Girlfriend?" 

JAKOB'S POV:

Did I say something I shouldn't have? Shit I kind of just assumed. Maybe she wasn't ready?

I was normally so cool about this stuff as it was basically just like buttering toast to me now, but this time it was different. Very different. I was tongue tied as I realised I had to speak.

"Uh W-what?" My stutter was becoming so noticeable now as my nerves took over. This was also odd, I was never nervous. ever. Why is this so different?

She's different thats why but in a good way, I had actually fallen for her unlike all the other girls that had been involved in my past...

I tried to hide my fears as I pulled her in close. "yea why can't I hug my girlfriend?"
