Prologue

It had been 3 years since Dad died. 3 years since I started studying. 3 years I've been alone. Let's just say my kind neighbors drop off food every week. They seem to like me, and they have offered for me to come home with them a couple of times, but I always say no. I can't go with them, they would ask too many questions. I've been studying my butt off to do this and I won't let a nosey couple get in my way. Tonight's the night, just hang on Dad. I'll bring you back soon.

Time skip to later that night❤️

I finish off the transmutation circle and I'm done, it's ready. I place my hands firmly onto the chalk. I can feel the dust of my basement floor between my fingers. As soon as I start I feel somethings wrong. It feels, dark, foreboding, evil. As my thoughts spin I suddenly feel excruciating pain along my spine and in my eyes. I scream so loud I thought the house was going to collapse. Next thing I know I'm talking to a marshmallowey character who  is going on and on about how
younger and younger his visitors are getting, whatever that means. I'm about to ask him a question but he just starts laughing
"HAHAHAHAH!, so pretty girly, what is it you desire. Oh right, I already know! Daddy's little girl misses him so much, she's willing to try human transmutation ahahahah!" He laughs like he's the funniest person in the... Wherever we are now? The gate? The void? Whatever. At the moment I'm pissed so I don't care about what this place is called. He stopped laughing to look at me. (H/C) bangs casting long shadows down my face. He looked amused at the fire in my eyes.
"You just took your first step into hell." I say darkly, and I sprint up to him and punch him in the face with as much force as my little 9 year old body could muster. I guess he doesn't know everything, does he. After having me restricted, he obviously had enough of my attitude and chucked me into a opening doorframe, sending me down a spiral of knowledge so fast I thought my head would burst. I clench my eyes and grit my teeth, trying to process the information being given to me. And then I felt him, the comfort and kindness only he could offer. And what I've been searching for this whole time. I just want to wrap his arms around me and cry into his shoulder.
"I miss you," I say into the air as I was thrown back outside what I'm going to call 'the knowledge'. "I was so close," I say crumpling to the floor. "Sorry girly, that's all I can show you for the tole you've paid." And with that I was thrust back to my body, and all I see is black.
