"I bet Canada is fun."

"Kind of. Its very cold in there." I said

Ben is touring me to some places here.

"I'm glad you accepted my offer touring you around here."

"You were liscensed tour guide so I shouldn't reject that free offer." We both laughed.

"Did your boyfriend allowed you?"

"He's not my boyfriend. Have you ever not know him?"

"He is Shawn Mendes. Who will never know him. He's a great singer." A smile forms in my lips.

"I know."

"I thought he was your boyfriend, the way he looks at me when I was talking to you at the beach, he looks like a jealous boyfriend and he could punch me anytime"

I stopped walking.

"Why? Did I say something?" He looked worried.

"No. He was actually my boyfriend." His eyes grew wide.

"You mean? He's your ex?" I nodded

"Oh.. I see. Do you still love him?"

I remained silent. I don't know what to say. I still do love him but it kills me seeing him leave again.

"I never stopped." And I continued walking.

"Oh. I was wondering if I could get a chance." I stopped again.

"You are very beautiful. But its not the only reason why should boys have you, the way you talk about him earlier, it just wants me to be loved like that. And I envy him because you love him so much even though you're not together anymore. You are million times worth having for."

Tears came out of my eyes. I don't deserve Shawn. I hurt him.

"I gave up our relationship just like that without fighting for it. I don't deserve him."

Ben pulled me for a hug

"Shhh. Its okay, I know someday he will understand you." I cried even harder.

Someone pulled me away from Ben and spaced between us.

"Do you think its right to cry over someones shoulder when you told me that you still love me?"

Oh my god.

"Shawn?"

"Hey. I was just comforting her. You don-.."

"Shut up. Stop going near her"

"Just listen to her. If you don't want her anymore im here to catch her. She's worth fighting for. See you around, Sophia I'll go ahead."

And then Ben walked away.

I looked at Shawn.

"Why are you still here? I thou-.."

He stopped me and pulled me for a hug.

"You will never go near him or any other boys."

He read it. My letter for him.

I cried harder.

"Shh. Its okay. And I do love you too, Sophia. Let's fix things between us. Damn I missed you so much."

He kissed my forehead and wipes the tears on my face.

"I missed you too Shawn, I'm sorry if I hurt you." I'm still crying while he is tapping my back.

"Shhh. Let's head back to the hotel. We need to talk."

He intertwined our hands and walked to his car.

"I thought you have a guesting tomorrow?" I asked him.

"You should be blaming yourself for letting me read your letter. It just made me want to fly back where you are after I read it."

My heart is beating so fast.

After how many months all I want is to be beside him.

"I'm sorry, all I want is for you to pursue your dreams. I don't want to be a distraction like what Camila said so I went back to new york" His eyebrows knitted

"Camila what?" He raised his voice

I panicked and I don't know how to take the words that I've said. God I didn't mean to tell him! It just slipped out.

"Tell me! What did she tell you?"

"Its nothing Shawn. Not a big deal"

"Tell me, Sophia. What did she said to you?" He pleaded.

I sighedn

"She told me that I am only a distraction to you. And Andrew is getting mad at you because you're not focusing on your career instead you are wasting your time calling me everytime. That's why I left, I didn't wanted to hurt you. But that's what I thought, the only way to let you focus on what you suppose to prioritize and its not me."

He balled his fist and he seems so mad but he remained calm.

He hugged me again.

"You were not a distraction to me. And you will never be. You are my inspiration when I'm writing songs, that's where I get the meaning of it the life of every song that I make so don't you ever think of that. And don't believe everyone that's trying to break us, just trust me. Okay?" I nodded and I hugged him back.

We went back to the hotel and our parents are questioning us why are we together and why Shawn is still here.

"Are you planning to tell me something?" Aaliyah asked me while smiling like a creep.

"Tell you what?" I said pretending I don't know what she is talking about.

"You and Shawn. I know there's something's going on" She crossed her arms.

"Stop bugging her around." Shawn came out from his room and sat beside me.

"Shawn can you please tell me what's happening?"

"Tell you what?" He asks while laying his head on my lap and his body on the couch.

"God. You just answered like what Sophia answered me." She seemed pissed already.

"What do you want to know?" Shawn said and wraps his arms around my tummy and it tickles me.

"Why are you acting like that? Are you two together again?"

"Obviously."

"OH MY GOD!! I GOTTA TELL THEM!"

Aaliyah is dancing around the living room like an idiot.

Shawn stood up and walk to the door.

"Hey. Where are you going?" I asked him.

"Just getting our own room. Aaliyah is annoying." And then he went out.

What the hell. Is he even serious about that?

"Please tell me he is kidding." I said nervously.

"Probably not!" Aaliyah teases me.

"I better tell them the greatest news flash today so gotta go!"

And she flew out of the room.
