Epilogue

Please read the authors note at the end! Thanks

A smile pulled across my face as I sleepily opened my eyes. The early morning sunlight lit up the room through the curtains and the chirps of birds could be heard from outside. Rolling over I buried my head in the hard chest beside me as his arms tightened around me. His lips pressed to the top of my head sings long that he too was awake.

"Merry Christmas," he sleepy voice whispered into my ear.

"Merry Christmas," I responded my voice also full of sleep. Peering up I looked at the face I would never get tired of before pressing my lips to his.

The pitter patter of little footsteps made us both grin before the door was thrown open and a little four year old boy charged into our room. Jumping onto our bed, a stocking filled with presents was thrown on top of me.

"Look what Father Christmas bought me!" He screeched, his ocean blue eyes gleaming with excitement. My grin matched that of the little boy's as he sat cross legged wedged in between our two bodies.

"Wow! " I grinned. "Do you want to open them?" I asked, knowing what the answer would be.

"Yes!" He chirped, nodding his head enthusiastically.

"Well go on then," a deep voice came from next to me. Shifting so we were sitting up right we watched as our four year old son ripped open his presents. Squeals of excitement and jumps of joy following each one.

Once all of them were open, and our bed was covered in wrapping paper our little boy sprinted out the room with his favourite present in hand to show his grand parents.

Slipping our of bed I wrapped my arms round my husbands waist as I looked into his ocean blue eyes which matched our sons. Never did I think I would fall in love so young, but I did. I had met the most incredible man when I was just seventeen and everything we had been through was worth it. He was just as amazing as he was the day I met him, eight years ago, and I knew my love for him would never fade. He was the one who gave me the best gift I could possibly ask for. My son.

After three years together Ben had finally proposed to me, and after a nine month engagement we had gotten married in the same church as my parents. The ceremony was small, just our families and closest friends but still perfect. Then a year after that our perfect little son Oscar was born. His birth had only made Ben and I closer. Those two boys meant more to me than anything ever had or will.

"I love you," I murmured as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"I love you too Goofy," he responded before pressing his lips to mine. I thought that the effect of his kiss would had worn off by now. It hadn't. I still became weak at the knees, sweaty palmed, and breathless. He was the only one who ever made me feel that way. I loved him so much that words couldn't ever describe how I feel when I'm around him.
