[Emma]

"So, where is she?" The guard asked, looking at me through slitted eyes.

It was surprisingly easy to knock out Autumn. She was more stupid than I thought she was.

And even if Syrena is looking for her, she'll never find Autumn. She's too precious to just give away to a power hungry leader.

Once I return her to the Factor, the Ruby Box will be all ours.

After knocking her out with the butt of my gun, I dragged her to the underground headquarters..with a little help of course.

The girl stood not that far from me, her arms crossed across her chest, and her light-purple hair swaying in the cool breeze. She had told me that her name is Valery when we met.

"Right over there by the girl." I pointed a finger at Valery. She wore a normal light-blue tee, with faded jeans.

The guard looked at her before nodding. "O-OK, bring her in."

I walked over towards Valery and started to lift Autumn's body.

Valery helped, and soon, we had walked through the metal doors of the Factor HomeBase.

The smell of copper, and a hint of lavender soothed me as I continued to carry Autumn.

Finally, I thought to myself. I'm home.

Soon, we came to a door labeled 15-B. I dropped Autumn's feet and leaned down to the eye scanner.

"Eye recognized." The robotic-female controller told me in an emotionless tone. "Welcome back Emmaline De Moere."

The door slid open, and as soon as I walked in, I knew that this was the place where Autumn belonged.

A single mattress on the floor, a small bathroom, and a small stool.

Right where the Blender scum belongs.

"Drop her here." I commanded Valery. Nodding, she carefully dropped Autumn onto the mattress. It creaked after many years of use, and I stepped back.

"Thank you Valery," I started. "I will see that you are rewarded for your help."

"You're welcome, Agent De Moere." Valery saluted, and I groaned.

"You can just call me Emma." I explained. Valery nodded before turning to look at Autumn.

"What do you plan on doing with her?" She asked, before settling onto the small stool.

"Well...the Factor ruler will see what information Autumn has of the Ruby Box. If Autumn communicates right, she might be able to leave here unharmed." I replied.

"And if she doesn't comply?" Valery asked. "What happens then?"

I smirked, and grinned at the idea. It was pretty simple, the method we use for all the captured. "She dies."

[Autumn]

My heart raced, as I ran around Fray Sector. If Emma worked with Syrena, who knows what Autumn may be going through? Not to mention that she's wanted by the most, worst leader ever?

Nathan barely managed to catch up, and as I walked, I remembered where I actually should've been.

Scarlett.

We'd been best friends ever since Mavis, Evan, and Layla left on the Kassian plane to the Dolarian Empire. I haven't seen them since.

Everyone had thought that they had all died on the plane, when it was attacked by the Aggregate, however by commands of a 16- year old Syrena.

I still remembered how sad and heartbroken Scarlett had been when the Kassian detectives closed the case, and reported that they were dead, despite any evidence that they were dead in the first place.

And now, Scarlett was in need of my help, and I was looking for a Ex- Blender. Soon, I thought of Nora Lloyd, the small girl who decided to tag along with Scarlett instead of journeying with me.

She is only 15, but cares for Scarlett as if she were her little sister. If only I could see her now..I'd hug her.

My watched beeped, and I glanced down. A blinking red light shined in the light.

"Stop." I remembered the tracking device I located on Emma at the party. Right on the back of her dress, blending in. I stopped moving, and Nathan walked in front of me.

"Why?" He asked. "Autumn could be in grave danger, now as we speak. If you were right about all this Emma nonsense-"

"Autumn is safe." I said calmly. Nathan looked at me with confusion. Autumn was safe. I knew everything about where Autumn was. I took off my watch and showed it to Nathan.

"Autumn is located in an underground facility, which is guarded by enemies of the Aggregate, and the Kassian border." I started. "However, I have inside people, who will make sure that Autumn gets out safe. However, if we interfere, our lives might be at stake."

"So what are we to do? Wait?" He continued to ask.

"I have something better to do."

"How would we know which one Autumn is located in?"

"It's like a hot-and-cold game. If we're close to her, it'll beep really fast. However, if we're farther than her, it'll beep slowly."

"So what do we do until your inside people get Autumn out?" Nathan fidgeted with the collar of his shirt.

"We rescue another friend of mine...."
