Harry Potter: The Aftershow

Hugo's POV

B was talking to the Headmaster outside of the hospital wing about the dragon attack and explaining to, yet another teacher what she remembered "Yeah - Al and I were just sitting on the top bleacher laughing and waving to Teddy and we hear this roar and everything starts quaking and the bleachers start creaking and so Al and I got up and started walking to the stairs cause it was annoying and then the dragon was there crashing through everything and Al tried to fight it and it knocked her out into open air and ...you know what happened from there..." She nods quickly with a faraway look in her eye "Headmaster?" B asks with concern. She just and looks at Beth "What is wrong?" She asks frowning. Professor McGonagull leans in then and says in a sharp tone "Listen, Sarabeth" (That was unusual, I had never heard the Headmaster call anyone by their first names) - "That dragon attack wasn't a stray dragon that got loose on accident. I know that someone set that dragon loose on purpose and somehow sent it to Hogwarts. But - you musn't tell anyone what I have told you!" I watched as Beth looked worried "Not even Allie??" The Headmaster stood there frozen in thought for a few moments before finally answering "You may only tell Aliria- no one else! Do you understand Sarabeth?" Someone was purposely trying to hurt Hogwarts?? I heard Beth agree and say she was already on her way to meet a friend - That was me- So I quickly made it look like I had just walked around the corner when B came around the corner and ran into me. "Hey" I said with a grin that only she could bring about on my face. She smiled shyly and leaned up, pressing a warm kiss to my cheek. She started to step back but I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her body to mine "Don't tease me" I spoke playfully and placed a kiss on her lips. She pulled back and giggled. Now - I know what your thinking, Are they dating? No...not yet - but i'm getting to that! I handed her the backpack filled with clothes that I had gotten a girl from Hufflepuff and a girl from Gryffindor to fill with the girls stuff. Al and Beth both had to stay until they were completley healed - which sucked. B grinned and hugged me tightly before starting to turn around saying "Thank you so much Hugo!!!" This is it. I have to do it now! "Beth! Wait!" She turned and took a few steps towards me. "What's up?" She frowned. I felt my cheeks heat up. She was the only girl who had ever given me butterflies in my stomach. I promised myself after the whole shit with Scorpius went down that I would take care of her. "I-i W-would you be my girlfriend?" My words flooded out in a rush. She looked down and said in a quiet and sad voice "Would we have to be a secret?" She sounded so insecure. Damn Scorpius! What the hell have you done to this perfect human being? "Of course not" I spoke without hesitance. I wan't ashamed of her and hell, no one should be. With that - her face lit up like a christmas tree. She dropped the backpack and pulled me down into a long, passionate kiss. I ran my fingers through her hair and pulled her as close as she could get. When we finally parted so we could both breathe - I smirked and said "So is that a yes?" She laughed with a big grin on her face " 'Zat is a most definitley" I pecked her on the cheek. "Well, okay then love - I will see you at dinner? I will come sit down here with you two" She grinned even wider if that was possible. "Really? That sounds amazing" She gave me a hug and waved as she backed towards the entrance to the hospital wing after snatching up the backpack. When she was finally inside and the door was firmly closed behind her - I turned and walked up the staircase to the main entrance of the school and as I walked towards the Great Hall - I saw the one person I never wanted to see again. Scorpius. He walked up to me and said "Hey mate, you alright? You look like a tomato" He chuckled and added "Is it a girl? Finally got yourself a girl eh?" I smirked and said "Yeah, as a matter of fact I do have a beautiful, funny, smart, talented and just plain amazing girlfriend!" He rolled his eyes still joking around. "Yeah? Who is it then?" I paused and spoke with confidence "Sarabeth" He looked stunned for a few seconds and then finally a look of murderous rage took over "Your lying" He spat. "Not at all...Just asked her to go out with me - she said yes" I shrugged. He glared fiercely "YOU BLOODY TRAITOROUS GIT - HOW COULD YOU???" I rolled my eyes and started walking away. "YOU KNEW I LIKED HER AND NOW YOU GO AND FUCK HER BEHIND MY BACK??" I felt my blood boil at that comment. I wasn't that kinda of guy - I would never fuck a girl just to dump her. I whipped around with my fists clenched. "DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE SAY THAT TO ME YOU ASSHOLE! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TREATED HER LIKE SHIT IN THE FIRST PLACE - I'VE ALWAYS LIKED HER AND I HAVE WATCHED YOU TOY WITH HER FOR FAR TOO LONG! SHE IS MY GIRLFRIEND. SHE LIKES ME. SHE'S KISSED ME. MORE THAN I CAN SAY FOR YOU!" He looked even more mad if that was even possible "I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FRIEND! SHE'S MINE YOU DICK" I felt my face turn bright red with anger "SHE DOESN'T BELONG TO ANYONE - SHE HAS CHOSEN WHO SHE WANTS AND YOU'RE THROWING A HISSY FIT BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T GET WHAT YOU WANT AND I'M NOT SURPRISED THAT SHE HATES YOU AFTER ALL THAT YOU'VE DONE TO HER!!" He rolled his eyes "Oh yeah? WHAT HAVE I DONE!? GO AHEAD! TELL ME!" I was trying as hard as I could not to punch him. "LET ME SEE...OH YEAH! YOU TRIED TO GET HER TO GO OUT WITH YOU BUT YOU SAID YOU COULDN'T TELL ANYONE WHICH MADE HER FEEL LIKE YOUR OWN PERSONAL WHORE AND IT ALSO LOWERED HER SELF ESTEEM QUITE A BIT - AND THEN AT THE DANCE? YOU MADE OUT WITH MY FUCKING SISTER RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER WHEN YOU KNEW SHE STILL HAD FEELINGS FOR YOU - YOU KNEW AND DIDN'T CARE AND OH CHERRY ON TOP OF THE CAKE? YOU WERE TRYING TO GET HER TO  GIVE YOU A FUCKING SECOND CHANCE JUST LITERALLY A DAY BEFORE THE DANCE - Tell me again - whose the douchebag here?" He glared and started towards me and I shoved him back. We started shoving each other harder - when I heard Rosie yelling "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" I turned "None of your business Rose - fuck off" With one last shove aimed at Scorpius I turned and stormed in to the Great Hall to eat lunch.
