And you've got your demons, and darling, they all look like me.

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•Zianna and I walked out to the garden, she wore a white dress that barely kissed the ground, and her black hair was pulled into two small braids, the rest of her hair falling in black waves.
I followed silently as we walked to a patch of wildflowers. She sat down, looking like an angel.
I stood, standing until she invited me to sit.
"Don't be so formal, Aphmau" she laughed. I let out a breath of relief and sat in front of her. "This is my favorite part of the garden. They want to cut it, but I will never let them. It's just too...naturally beautiful" she sighed.
"It is radiant, there used to be glowing flowers in my homeland. But they died, along with their keepers"
Zianna took her hand and waved it around one of the buds.
"What a shame, but becoming hung up over it isn't going to do anything." The bud started to bloom, "flowers, like people, come and go. They wilt and die. But without death, the world would have no gain."
"How so?" I asked.
"The gazelle eats the grass, the lion eats the gazelle, and the lion passes, turning to the grass. It's the circle of life, if the gazelle did not die, the gazelle would not eat"
"The gazelle could still eat without the lion dying, right?"
"Death nourishes the earth, things have to die in order for the earth to gain as much nourishment as possible. We can't just rely on the bees and rain"
The flower that Zianna was waving her hands over was now in full bloom. It bursted with various colours. It was beautiful.
I wish my magic could be beautiful...
"Tell me...how are you liking O'Khasis?"
"It's nice, it's beautiful but...the people aren't really...keen on the idea of me being here"
"Oh, don't worry about that," she giggled, "they'll warm up to you eventually...and how do you feel about my family so far?"
"Well...you're insanely nice so far, Zane is...charming, Vylad is a dorky guy, but fun to be around. Garte seems nice, I haven't talked much to him."
"And Garroth?"
"He's distant, and can be cold. Yet...when it's important, he's nice...and gentle, and just an overall sweetheart" I smiled, remembering him holding me and carrying me home.
"You seem really fond of Garroth" she teased. I blushed and laughed nervously.
"Well he took me away from my temple jail, so yeah, he has a special place in my heart I guess"
Zianna smiled knowingly and looked up, she waved so I decided to look up to see what she was looking at. I saw Garroth in the window, so I waved at him. He lazily waved and then turned from the window.
Zianna and I talked.
She was my peace teacher. She would teach me how to meditate and be at peace with myself.
"That's enough for today, go rest up" Zianna stood up and walked inside.
I stood up and picked a flower.
I lit a flame, it danced dangerously around the flower, but not lighting it.
"Hey"
I jumped and accidently burned the flower. I turned to see Garroth crossing his arms and raising a brow.
"Oh, it's you, you scared me" I held a hand to my chest and felt that my heart was beating unusually fast.
Just got scared, it'll die down soon
"Okay, well I have a question to ask you"
"Alright, ask away" I wiped the ashes from my hands onto the ground and looked into his blue eyes. I saw red rise to his pale cheeks.
Is he...blushing?
Already working.....
"Wanna....go on a date tonight?" He scratched the nape of his neck, looking so nervous.
"A date?"
"Y-yeah, I figured you could use just a-a night on the town"
"Sounds wonderful, I'd love to"
"Really?!" His eyes lit up, and then he cleared his throat, "uh...I mean...thank you, I'll pick you up at your room around seven thirty"
I nodded and bit my lip. He walked away and I watched his retreating figure.
I felt my heart again, and it was beating faster than when I got scared. Excitement and nervousness ran through my veins.
I ran into my room and dived onto my bed, screaming into a pillow.
I can't believe it's already working. They'll be so excited!
I skipped over to my closet, opening it to see what I could wear.
I found a knee length black dress, with a dark purple ribbon and bow around the waist. I picked out a white cardigan and some black shoes.
The time was five o'clock. I decided to jump in the bath.
I finished freshening up, and walked out into my room. It was five forty five, I had plenty of time.
I looked in my mirror and took the towel out of my hair. I used my magic and dried it. I got dressed and did my hair and make up. By the time I was done, it was six thirty.
Half an hour to perfect some little mistakes.
I fixed up little things, cause the little things add up.
I still had fifteen minutes, so I laid on my bed and played with a little flame.
A knock at my door interrupted my flame. It burnt out and I sat up. I took a deep breath and slowly walked towards the door.
I opened to see...
....him
A/N Is him really Garroth??? I don't know! Well...I do know. Anyways! So, next part will be in Garroths point of view. I'm seriously so excited for some things t come up in this book!!! I love you all devils, byeee.
