It's You          Zayn

I froze. I wasn't sure whether I should be boiling mad or fearful.

I decided frustrated was the best emotion.

I turned around and was met by none other than Stefanie and her cronies.

"Hey ladies," She sneered. I could see the anger boiling just under her skin.

"What the fuck do you want?" Paige asked, rolling her eyes.

"Oh I just wanted to see how my two favorite people are doing. Long time no see don't you think?" She asked.

Neither of us responded.

"How's Zayn and Harry?" She asked, eyes narrowing.

I almost burst out laughing.

While Paige actually does  burst out laughing.

We all stare at her as if she's lost her mind, and I can't help letting out a snicker of my own.

Paige literally doubles over in laughter and I can't help but join her. The question was really pretty comical.

Wiping her eyes and standing back up, Paige manages to choke out, "Happy, now that they don't have to deal with you."

Stefanie just stands there, grinding her teeth. She clearly doesn't appreciate us laughing at her.

And for once, I don't care.

"Yeah, I have noticed that Harry does smile a lot more. And he's so affectionate." I grinned."Didn't he always hate the cutesy stuff when he was with you Steph?" I asked.

"Well I-" She began to say, but Paige cut her off.

"Yeah I remember that, he used to, like, hate holding your hand and kissing you in public right? He's all about that stuff now. I guess he likes to show Victoria off. He must not have liked you that much." She pointed out.

Even though Paige had never hung out with Harry and I before, I still went along with it. Just to piss off Stefanie. We started laughing again.

"Yeah, he wasn't much into that." Stefanie said lazily, "But I have to ask, how is he... in bed?"

I stopped laughing immediately and almost choked. "What?!"  I asked. She wasn't about to go there...

Oh, but she was.

"What, it's an honest question? I always thought he was pretty good. The things that tongue could do..." She trailed off, sighing dreamily.

I felt the heat of anger rising in my cheeks as I balled my fists down at my side. The thought of those two together made me sick.

For once, Paige didn't seem to have much to say.

"Don't you agree?" Stefanie sneered at me.

"We... I... haven't..." I was too angry and embarrassed to speak. Her friends were clearly enjoying the show, almost in tears as they laughed behind her.

"Oh no! Don't tell me. You two haven't done anything  yet, have you?" She laughed, "This is priceless."

"That's none of your fucking business Steph." Paige growled behind me.

"Hey, I was just trying to have some girl talk about a boy we have in common. However, I guess it is my fault. I should have known this prissy little girl wouldn't do anything bad  with him. Unless of course, it's him not wanting to have to touch you. Frankly,I wouldn't blame him." She said as she looked me up and down pointedly, with disgust.

"He does too want to touch her!" Paige shot back. She got real quiet though as she realized how lame that sounded.

Stefanie and her friends burst out laughing again, mocking Paige.

Between laughs Stefanie said, "Of course he does. Well, tell him I said hi okay? Later losers." She turned around and flipped her stupid blonde hair over her shoulder to make a point as she walked away with her friends.

I felt the tears burning behind my eyes. I felt sick.

"Hey, don't listen to her okay, she's just being a bitch."Paige said to console me.

I just nodded, not wanting to talk. All I wanted to do was hear Harry's voice right now. I needed to know that he was still mine and not hers.

***

As soon as Paige dropped me off at home, I called Harry.

It rang and rang until I got his voicemail. I hung up before leaving a message. What was I going to say?

"Oh, hey Harry. I just wanted to hear your voice after I saw your ex-girlfriend at the mall and she told me all about your sex life."

Yeah, right.

I sighed as I put my phone away. Now what was I supposed to do?

As if on auto-pilot, I walked to the fridge to grab an apple and then walked out to my treehouse. Maybe I could write something for my story.

Harry's P.O.V

I walked out of the auditorium and squinted. It was bright as hell out here.

I was glad to be outside though, and I the fresh air instead of in that stinky, cramped room. The practice for graduation majorly sucked and frankly just irritated the hell out of me.

I grabbed my phone out of my jean pocket and checked for any text messages. I had one missed call from Victoria. I wondered what she wanted?

Before I had the chance to call her back, I heard my name called.

"Hey, Harry!"

I looked up to see Zayn jogging over to me.

"What's up man?" I asked.

Me and a couple of guys are going back to my place to celebrate graduating, do you wanna come?" He asked.

A party in the afternoon? I thought about it for a second. "Yeah, what the hell? I'll join." I said. It wasn't like I had anything else to do today anyway.

"Cool, I'll see you in 10?" He asked, and I nodded as I walked to my car.

Zayn and I had become better friends since we got out of school and out of Stefanie's group. I figured I might as well get used to seeing him more often since his girlfriend was my girlfriend's best friend.

I hopped in my car and drove off, totally forgetting about the call I missed.
