Harry's P.O.V
I watched as Victoria walked out of sight. Oh fuck she was so mad.
Paige stood behind me in shock as well.
"Oh no. Looks like there's trouble in paradise."
I heard a cackle and turned around, ready to rip the throat of my prey out.
"You." I hissed.
"Me?" She asked. "What ever did I do?" Sweet. Innocent. Demon.
"I can't believe I ever told myself I loved the likes of you." I spit, charging towards her.
I felt a small but strong hand holding me back. Something in me wanted to shove away the unfamiliar touch and keep going at her but I decided to heed the warning in the tight grasp and stop where I was.
"Just admit it. You knooow you want me back." Stefanie said, beginning to circle me.
"Why don't you just stop. Stop throwing yourself at a boy who clearly doesn't want you. An ex at that. Its pathetic really."
I was so enveloped into my own rage that I had forgotten Paige was behind me, her grip still on my arm.
Stefanie's sharp glare swung over to Paige. "And who are you? Nothing but a washed up ex-best friend in my eyes. Stay out of this babe."
"You don't get to call me that anymore, Steph."
Suddenly I felt like I was in the middle. Even though this fight started out between me and Stefanie, I suddenly felt like I was thrown into a old world, an old battle that had nothing to do with me.
"I also don't call you relevant anymore, you're dismissed." Stefanie said, lightly shooing her away with the flick of her hand.
I felt Paige's grip on my arm tighten and I flexed my arm in response. She loosened.
"What do we have going on here anyway. Is Paige supposed to be calming you down? Holding you back? Oh, I'm so scared. Or is there something here that I first missed? Do you two have... a thing for each other?"
"Oh, now you're just making stuff up!" I yelled, throwing my hands in the air.
I felt Paige's arm dropped off of my shoulder.
Stefanie shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe I am," She said, still circling us like we were her prey. Then she got closer to me. "Or maybe I'm not." She smiled.
"What do you want?" I asked her, totally irritated to my core.
"What do I want? Oh I already have exactly what I want. Victoria is mad at you and her already overly insecure mind has now a bigger seed of doubt planted because she saw us together earlier." She was truly evil.
"But nothing happened." I reminded her. "You took my phone and tried to con me into leaving her for you- which I won't do and-"
"But she doesn't know that." She cut me off. " We both do. But she doesn't. And what makes you think you are going to convince her other-wise. Do you have proof?"
"I have my word." I shot.
"Oh! Your word! Of course she will believe that! You only made fun of her for a year. She won't consider that fact at all."
I grind my teeth together in frustration.
"Here's a question for you." She started, " Why are you still here? If you don't like me.. If you want nothing to do with me at all... Why did you stay here instead of running after your girlfriend- who of course you want to be with. Doesn't make much sense to me now does it?"
