Hydra's A Bitch (Avengers x Reader)

Prompt: You're in the middle of a Civil War, trying to stop it to be exact, when Hydra has other plans

"Guys! This is stupid!" You yell as you stand between the two opposing teams. "This isn't you! Don't let the government decide how you run this team! You all decide!"

"Y/N." Tony sighs from his side.

"It doesn't work that way." Steve states. "It has already gone too far."

"Too far?!" You yell while continuing to hold your stance. "It's never too far-"

"Y/N! This isn't a Disney fairy tale!" Clint yells. 

"I'm sorry but you need to grow up and face the facts!" Natasha adds. "This is how it's going to have to be, nothing's going to bring this team back together." She trails off at the end, tears start to pool into your eyes at you look to each person. 

"Fine." You whisper. "Fine." Dropping your gun, you turn around and start sprinting for the nearest exit. You hear calls behind you but you don't stop. You don't stop until you run into a lone alley, you lean against the wall to catch your breath before you can start running again.

"Oh poor poor Y/N." A voice calls. "You should've listened to your friends."
Before you can reply, something hits you in the back of the head; making everything go black.

THIRD POV

The others could hear your scream from exactly where you were, yet no one moved. They all stared at each other, then back to the spot where they last heard your screams. 

"Guys, I don't know about you but I knew Y/N when we were young." Scott states. "So I'm not going to sit around if she's in trouble."
With that, he takes off in a sprint towards the alley where you had ran to. The others share a look before running after him. 

Only to find that they were too late

The only thing they could find was a spot of blood on the floor and the wall.

And a note taped next to it

You should've stopped her when you had the chance, looks like we get her now. Good luck in finding her with your 'nothing's going to bring these teams back together' groups. I mean, I think we're doing this girl a favor. 

Next time you see her, you'll be on the other side of the gun, hope your ready Avengers. Because she will show no mercy and that's a promise.

HAIL HYDRA

Steve drops the paper and runs towards the back of the alley. "I don't care if we're fighting over this now." He states.

"Same here Cap, we're going to save her." Tony states. "Even if the government arrests us all."

"Shut it Stark."
