Louis went to Niall's room, but when he didn't get an answer, he grew panicked. He immediately got the spare key and opened the door, but the room was empty. But then the light from underneath the bathroom door showed were Niall had to be. Louis rushed to the door and knocked again.

"Niall, please open up!" he called out but he got no answer. "Niall?" He called again before opening the door with the spare key. There he saw Niall on the ground, his once blue dress was covered and sprinkled with blood. Louis gagged before his eyes moved up to see were the blood was coming from. He gasped and fell to the ground beside Niall.

"Niall, n-no.." he whimpered out and stared at the words carved into Niall's right arm. Niall only looked up with blurry eyes. "L-Lou.." he mumbled and made a grabby hand for Louis. Louis pulled the younger hybrid into his arms and together they were sobbing.

"Why?" Louis gasped and tears flowed down his face.

"I'm not worth him, so why should I be worth anyone else?"

"Niall, Liam has some big issues that's why he did what he did."

"He could have just told me.."

"But he didn't want to hurt you!"

"But he did anyway."

Louis sighed and in silence he cleaned the cuts and bandaged them but when the blood didn't stop seeking through the bandage, Louis took Niall to the hospital.

The doctor there was young but didn't ask Niall anything, but simply gave Louis his card after he had pulled the brunette to the side.

"Just call or message me when he gets worse okay? I don't want to scratch at his wounds just now, but if it gets worse, please notify me. I don't want him to do anything worse."

Louis simply nodded and left with Niall.

Two weeks had nearly passed and nobody had heard anything from Liam. Niall hadn't been left alone, either Louis or Harry were always beside him, afraid he would hurt himself again.

After Louis had taken Niall to the hospital, where Niall's cuts had been stitched, he had called harry and had explained him the situation and Harry was more than happy to have the blonde at his café, always making sure that his dad wasn't coming by.

Niall had been not very talkative since the date and had been quite grumpy as well.

It was two days later, exactly two weeks since the last meeting with Liam, he was watching TV in the afternoon. He was just switching through the channels when he suddenly heard:

"We are here at Liam Payne's wedding in the Maldives..." Niall gasped and tears sprung to his eyes. Was this all just a joke to Liam?

Louis had just walked into the living room when he heard Niall gasp and he bolted to over to the blond. "What happened?" he asked but his eyes caught the screen where a smiling Liam stood, talking to the reporter. "I'm so happy to be here. Sophia is such a sweet girl and I'm happy I'll marry her in a few hours." Liam said and had a genuine smile on his lips. The camera swayed to a beautiful brown haired girl.

"Ms. Smith, are you excited for the wedding?" The girl smiled happily. "I can't wait to be finally married to Liam. He has been such a great boyfriend and will be an even more amazing husband." "Then how come the relationship has been a secret for so long?"

"Liam is an important person and he was just in the beginning of building his company and the relationship could have risked his chances of success! But it was worth it to wait. I couldn't imagine myself to have a better boyfriend,"

The camera swayed back to Liam. "But two weeks ago you were seen with a blond man at a restaurant in Spain and you seemed very cozy.." Liam laughed:" That was just one of my friends. I'm straight and deeply in love with Soph, I would never cheat on her and blonde's aren't exactly my faves. I prefer dark eyes and dark hair with a tanned skin."

"What's his name?" the reporter asked. "He is nobody inportant,so let's not talk about him."

"Then, does the appearance matter a lot to you?" "Not really, if I fall in love then because of someone's character not because of her looks. Sophia just has the looks and the character, but I would have chosen her anyway, she is just perfect

Louis fumed angrily and had even called up Harry who immediately turned his TV on and watched Liam. "How can he?" Harry whispered brokenly. Liam was supposed to be their friend and he had been lying from the beginning. Both Louis and Harry were doubting Liam had told the truth when he had said that he hadn't even met Sophia before, because the love visible in both their eyes couldn't be faked.

"He is a fxcking douche", said Louis and watched further. Why had Liam asked Niall out when he was going to marry and didn't even like blondes? Had he really just pitied the blonde hybrid because he was so broken?

But seeing him now, he was even more broken and it was heart breaking to see the boy fall apart right in front of their eyes even more.

"Yes, we are planning for kids and hopefully she will get pregnant soon, because I can't wait to have a little human being to take care of who will look just as us two. The child will be a right heartbreaker, no matter what gender." Liam smiled brightly.

Just like his father, Louis thought bitterly.

Niall however broke out in sobs and buried his face in his arms. Everything had been a joke.

Louis pulled the hybrid into his arms. "Come on, let's watch something different."
