I looked at Pete, right in the eyes. I felt like I was being cornered, my lungs couldn't fill up with enough air so I breathed faster than normal. I was shocked to hear what he just told me.

"I would've taken the gun away from him but I'm too weak, I can't even move my fingers." He pants. I couldn't say anything, I was lost for words, he then gulped,

"Get the gun..." Pete stated in a weak voice. He had told me that Nick has been trying to hurt our group since we got here. The first time I met Nick was even strange, he almost killed some of our group. He was a maniac.

"How do I do that?" I asked him, I was looking for Nick, seeing if he had a gun. I couldn't find him, and then I heard Pete gasping for air. I turned to see why Pete was struggling to breathe. After I puzzled the pieces together in my mind, I knew it was his time. I tried to get him to breathe more steadily to make him more comfortable. He was too busy to notice what I was doing so I called Luke over, I hadn't seen Nick so I couldn't call him over. Luke rushed over when I said his name,

"What?" He asks, his eyes wide in a worried manner. I expressed my remorse with him the best that I could do and told him that his dad was taking his last breaths. Luke started crying and held his dad's hand, trying to comfort him in the best way. Everyone had cleared out of the room to leave Luke and his dad in privacy, so I went out to see if Nick was with the rest. Once I entered where everyone was, Alvin asked,

"Is it... Done yet?"

I shake my head, "he's taking his last breaths right now so everyone will have to stay in here for a couple of minutes to leave Luke some time alone with his dad," I then paused and looked around the room, "does anyone know where Nick went?"

"He left like thirty minutes ago to take a shit... Hasn't been back since." Daryl says from the corner.

I swore, knowing he was up to something bad. I got my gun out, everyone shifted on their feet, not knowing why I got my gun out.

"Carol, get the kids in the room with Aaron and Eric, lock the door and stay there." I ordered. She froze for a moment but then got Jamie, Rick looked at me before Carol took Judith.

"What's going on?" Rick asked me, his worry was prominent in his voice. Everyone joined in, questioning the same thing.

"Nick has a gun and I do not know where he is right now. He's a high danger to us all and we need to get the situation under control-" I started to say but loud gunshots interrupted my sentence. I saw holes from the bullets on the front door. Everyone started screaming and rushing to the sides of the warehouse to get in a safe place. Rick ran up to me,

"I'm not gonna tell you to go in the room where Carol and the kids are 'cause I know you wouldn't listen to me anyways," he says while he loads his automatic weapon next to me. He then looked me in the eye, and for the first time in a long time we were on the same team.

"Good guess." I say smartly, he just now understood the fact that I will not leave him or any of our group alone in a situation like this.

"He's over by the room where all the wood's stocked. He somehow can see through the walls or maybe he's just shooting inside, taking a guess." He says.

"Too risky, we can't send someone in there." I told him. I then made my way to the left of the wall where Luke and Pete were, I hadn't checked up on them yet since everything happened so quickly. I gasped when I saw him leaning against the other side of the wall that I was. He saw me, he was breathing heavily.

"How's Pete?" I asked him, he replied saying "dead" in the flattest tone.

"Nice brother you've got there." Daryl says, he was next to me, he said it to Luke. Luke shook his head and didn't say anything, like he didn't already know that this was a terrible thing.
