"You can't leave me." I hug him. I arms are around his waist, I'm hugging him tightly. "I don't want you to leave me." I start to sob.

"Mia it's for the better." He says to me.

"No. I know how this ends. 'It's for the better' how many times do you think I've heard that from the most important men in my life." I say in between sobs. "Please don't do this to me." I whisper on his shirt.

"Mia..." I let go of him.

I turn to look at him in the eyes and I attack his lips. At first he is in shock and then he realizes that I'm not stopping so he kisses me back. I lift my hands to wrapped them around his neck and he moves his to grab me by the waist.

Our kiss gets heated in seconds, next thing I know his hands are under my butt and I'm being lifted to wrap my legs around his waist. I separate my lips from his, to catch my breath, but his lips don't stop, he starts kissing my neck.

As he is kissing my neck he starts moving towards the bed. He stops kissing my neck and goes back to kissing me on the lips. As we are kissing we land on the bed, never stopping. I start to move my hands toward his chest, unbuttoning his shit. His hands start making their way to the hem of my dress.

"Papa." We hear Sofia cry. We stop kissing and turn to Sofia, who was seconds ago sleeping in the second bed.

Enzo let goes of my dress and I unwrap my legs from his waist. He gets up and starts buttoning his shirt. He walks to the other bed and gets Sofia.

"What's wrong, baby?" He asks her.

"Um Um." She replies.

"Oh your hungry. Let's go get some food."

"I can order room service." I tell him as I make my way to the phone.

"Okay."

We have been awkwardly sitting on the table eating our food for the past half an hour.

"So, Sofia ruins the mood and we are now sitting here awkwardly eating our food." Enzo breaks the silence.

"I'm glad she ruined the mood." I whisper to myself, but I know he heard.

"Why?"

"I'm not ready."

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pressure you."

"You weren't pressuring me. Trust me." I give him a small smile. "My body really wanted to but my heart is still scared. When I have sex again, I want both my heart and body to be on the same page."

"So your heart doesn't want me?"

"Enzo that's not it. My heart wants you too, but I'm scared of getting hurt again."

"Your heart wants me?"

"Yes, since they day you took me to the fair."

"Why haven't you said anything? I've been worried that you are gunna run off to that man since we got here."

"Because I didn't want you to stop making it your goal to make me happy." I get up from my chair and I walk to him. I grab his face with both hands, I look straight into his eyes. "You made me happy, you made me fall in love with you, you made me feel 16 again."

"Say that again."

"Say what?" I tease him.

"Love." He gives me a serious look.

"I love you. We just had our first kiss, but I don't need to kiss you everyday to know that you are now apart of my heart."

"I love you, too. Since that day I looked into your eyes."

I give him a kiss.

My family has been invited to a gathering at my godmother a house. Enzo and myself have been driving to their house for half an hour holding hands.

My parents aren't going to be there, for obvious reasons. But my mom send the kids over and she told me to go.

We park the car across the street and we make our way to their house.

"Mimi. Sweetheart, how have you been?" My godmother opened the door and gave me a hug. "Sorry sweetie." She says to Sofia, who I have been holding since we got of the car.

"It's okay."

"And who could this beauty be?" I turn to Enzo asking for permission.

"My daughter." I answer with a smile on my face.

"You have one beautiful baby. You must be the dad." She turns to Enzo.

"Yes, ma'am."

"Well, come on in. Everyone is already here."
We make our way to the backyard and I see everyone from my childhood there. Enzo and I are bombarded with questions from everyone.

'How long have you guys been together?'

'What have you been doing in Oregon?'

'How is your dad?'

'How have you been.'

After everyone finished their interrogation, me and Enzo sit with my brothers.

"Mia." I turn to see Vanessa. "Can we talk?" She says in a small voice.

"I don't want to." I turn back to my brothers.
"Mimi, please." I here Alexander behind me.
"She said no, and don't call her Mimi." I turn to see Xavier.

"Listen. Little boy, you don't know anything." Alexander says to Xavier.

"I don't know anything? I heard her cry every night in her sleep. I heard her call your name. I feel her flinch ever time I hug her. I see her flinch every time someone touches her. I don't need to know what happened, all I need to know is that it's all your fault." Xavier yells at him. Alexander is taken back by Xavier's outburst.

The whole backyard goes silent.
