"Are you sure you want to tell them?" Tess asks as we sit outside of our Lake Tahoe home.
I decided that's where we belonged now. Back home was too much stress for all of us. Tess was getting closer to her due date—she needed another month—and Dawson wouldn't let her out of his sight for a second. I was surprised he was even letting her sit outside with me.
"Positive. Alastair removed Marcus's laws. Jai heard him." I say with a small smile. "Then get your ass inside and kiss that boy senseless." She giggles. "That's the thing. I could have the three of them." I say and her face changes. "I wouldn't Hayden. Imagine having triplets?" She says and I bite my bottom lip. "But if you love them, go. Have them all together and tell them." She says and I nod. "Is now a good time?" I ask and she gapes at me. "It's a nice night. Starry and romantic. Bring them to that hill and tell them there. The flowers are fully bloomed and it smells great there." She says and starts pushing me to the door. "How are you this strong while pregnant?" I ask and she huffs. "It doesn't make me weak." She grumbles and I find them conveniently together watching the soccer game I had recorded for them to watch—since they had missed the original showing of it. "Guys." I say and they look up. "Come with me. I've got something to tell you." I say and they look at each other. They follow me outside and I chew on my bottom lip. I was petrified of asking them. What if they said no and rejected me? I knew we were mates, but they didn't have to accept it. Jai had already claimed me that night, but that didn't mean anything to us. It was our wolves, not us. But I couldn't bring myself to ever reject him. They finally succeeded in making me feel something for them. I had grown to love them.

"What are we doing up here?" Beau asks and I sit on the ground, my legs folded beneath me. They sit beside me and I look up at the sky. "I need to ask you guys something." I start and take a deep breath. I look at them and open my mouth. "Yes." They smile and I look at them with confusion. "Yes Hayden. We'll be your mates." Luke smiles and I laugh. "How did you know I was going to ask that?" I ask and they look at each other. "Had a feeling." Jai grins and I playfully narrow my eyes at him. "I can't." Beau says and I look at him sadly. "Why not?" I ask, hurt. "He's bound to a witch. Anyone his soul becomes one with dies." Chandler says as he steps out of the forest. "Beau?" I squeak out and he nods. "It was when I was five. She made herself appear as a deer and I followed. She touched me and bound me to her." He says and I hug him. I truly wanted to be with him, but I understood. I didn't care if I died, as long as I had a moment of happiness with him, but life wouldn't allow it.
That left me with Jai and Luke. My wolf was purring now. She had her chosen mate and wasn't about to let him go.

"I finally have you." Luke says as we lay cuddling in my bed. "Not yet." I murmur and he groans. "And why not?"
"You haven't claimed what's rightfully yours." I say and I kiss his neck, right over where my mark would be. "I'll do it right now." He growls and flips us over. My breath catches and his eyes glow in the dim room. He presses a soft kiss to my neck and I feel his sharp fangs scratch against the skin, teasing, but he doesn't break the surface. He chuckles and pulls away from me. "I'll wait until you're ready." He says and I narrow my eyes.
"Well I'm going to my own bed before Kodiak decides it's his." He chuckles and presses a soft kiss to my forehead before he opens the door. "Ah shit!" He whisper-shouts and I get up to go to him.
Jai was sleeping on the ground in front of my door and Luke had tripped over him. Luke sits awkwardly on the ground, staring at his twin. Jai rolls over and breathes out a cute little snore. He mumbles something in his sleep and scrunches up his face like a cute bunny which earns an audible "aww" from me. He actually fell asleep outside my door on the floor! How cute is that?! Luke shakes his head at him then goes inside his room. Jai lays with his back to the door and I close it carefully. Hopefully he isn't too uncomfortable on the wooden floor. I would feel terrible if he got a crick in his neck.
I grab a blanket and pillow then open the door again. I gently lift his head and place a pillow under it. I lay the blanket over him and look at the clock on the bedside table. It read five thirty AM in neon green numbers. I sigh, who the hell is even alive at this time? I climb back into bed and feel Nanook settle beside me. I was surprised she even stayed in the room with me. I wait until the sun rises at 5:42 AM. I brush my teeth and fix my hair and clothes before opening my door. I tip toe downstairs, knowing Tess and Dawson were still asleep. I hear a low snore from Luke's room as I pass and I smile softly. I walk towards the kitchen.

I spot the stainless steel fridge and trifle through it, deciding on a bowl of Lucky Charms, my favorite cereal. It's heavenly for this early in the morning.
"Well, I guess it's confirmed. You must be my mate if you like Lucky Charms," a sleepy voice rumbles from behind me. I jump so high at the surprising intrusion that I practically chuck my spoon across the room and come close to falling off of my stool.
"You scared me half to death, Jai," I mutter when my heart rate goes back to normal. He makes his way over to me and I can feel his eyes following my every move as I readjust myself.

Quietly, he slides my bowl and spoon in front of him then starts eating the rest of my cereal as if it's no big deal. I look at him in disbelief because, well, that's my cereal!
"Don't look so startled; you make Lucky Charms taste way better than they already do. Plus, this isn't the grossest thing we'll do babe." He chuckles darkly. I feel my entire face heat up and he suggestively winks at me. He sends me a mental image of what he meant and I blush even darker. He nuzzles my neck playfully and I hold back my giggle. He nips at the skin once then finally stops. "I didn't want you to stop." I say breathily. "I had to." He says and I see his eyes are the ones of his wolf. "You're eyes look just like your wolf's. Bright golden yellow." He says and I see them in the reflection of the fridge. "They're normally not like this. They remain my eye color but have a glow to them." I say and he looks at me.
