Savannah's P.O.V

As it turns out I wasn't ready.
Actually, I had completely forgotten.
I had my date with Ethan in an hour.
So, I had an hour to get ready, which in my point of view was plenty of time. Too much to be honest.
However, my point of view, apparently, doesn't apply to Bianca and Scarlett when I have a date, which applies dresses and makeup. So, I was entering a war zone.
After half and hour on trying on dresses, Bianca and Scarlet, had decided on a dress. Which I hated not that it mattered, however they were now advancing, towards me, with ranks of lipstick and grenades of blush.
"Stop." I said, putting my hand out.
"Savannah, you need makeup, your going on a date."
"Yes, but I have traditions."
"And what are those traditions?" Scarlett asked suspiciously.
"Leo and Jordan have to approve on the clothes."
"Okay, go and get them then."
I walked, more like waddled, out into the hallway to find Jordan and Leo setting a prank up on Darren.
So they looked like deer's stuck in head lights.
"How do I look?" I asked.
They didn't reply.
"If you be honest that would be nice, however if you say that it looks awful that would be even nicer."
"So you don't care about this?"
"No, it would have been nice if you included me, but I don't mind. Now, the dress?" I said gesturing towards the bright pink hunk of material, that apparently resembled a dress.
"Why did you pick it?" Leo asked, as Jordan got up and circled me.
"Bianca and Scarlett picked it."
"Of course." Leo said nodding.
"That would explain it." Jordan said.
"Care to elaborate?" I asked.
"It looks awful." Jordan said, stressing the 'looks'.
"I regret giving you those lens so soon." I muttered.
Jordan laughed. "But, really, it's so not you.
"Thank you for your consideration." I said sarcastically. "I will get Bianca and Scarlett to find something us." I said, before turning my heel back towards my room.
"Ah, ah, ah." Jordan said, causing me to turn back around.
"We want to experience this torture first hand." Leo said coming forward.
"Please, be my guest." I said sickly sweetly.
They ran past me into the room, leaving their gear on the floor, as I groaned and followed them inside.
Needless to say, it was going to be a long half an hour.

~~~
"This?"
"No."
"This?"
"No."
"How about -"
"No."
"Maybe this?"
"No."
"That?"
"Heck no." Jordan and Leo said, in disgust, as I held up a bright orange puffy dress.
I threw it down into the forever growing no pile, well the only pile.
"You guys are impossible." Scarlett say flopping down onto the bed.
"Why do you have so many dresses?" I said copying Scarlett.
"Stand up." Bianca said, pulling me to my feet. "We only have 10 minutes." She said, freaking out.
"Oh well, jeans and sweat shirt it is." I said grinning.
"No!" Everyone shouted in unison.
"Sheeh, it was just a suggestion." I said raising my hands in defence.
"Ohh, I have an idea." Bianca cried standing up clapping her hands together.
"Remind me, what happened last time you said that?" I asked cheekily.
She swatted me. "I said it was an idea, no a good idea."
"True." I said.
"That's because it's a great idea." She said, running out of the room.
"Moon goddess, save us all." I said lying on the ground.
"She can't be that bad." Scarlett said, reasoning.
"Oh, sure, last time she decided to paint the kids nursery."
"So? That's a great idea." Leo said confused.
"She managed to set a cot on fire down."
"How this heck did she manage that?" Scarlett asked.
I shrugged. "We were just glad that there wasn't a child in it."
"Back." Bianca sang, as she walked through the door, holding, what seemed to be a lilac dress.
We all looked at her in silence.
"Did you actually set a cot on fire?" Scarlett blurted out.
Cue the laughter, and the death glares heading my way.
I held my hands up, and she poked her tongue at me.
"Here." she stuck the lilac dress at me.
I took it from her and unfolded it.
I held the mid knee, boat neckline dress in front of me.
It was perfect. But I couldn't wear it.
No matter how I knew the high waist band, with the material flowing down from it, and the upper half covered in a floral lace pattern, all the same subtle lilac colour.
"It perfect." Leo said. While Jordan just nodded.
"I can't." I said turning to Bianca.
"Please?" She pleaded.
"But,"
"Please? For Mom." She said.
I sighed and returned my gaze back to moms old prom dress.
"For mom." I decided.
