Aesop regained his confidence and said, "Congratulations daughter of Hecate you have proven you are worthy to stay at the Albany Academy.  You will start you training tomorrow.  Logan, lead her to her dorm."  He looked at me and looked scared.

Logan escorted me out of the arena and we started walking down more corridors.  We walked in silence for awhile until I said, "What is Hecate the goddess of?"

He looked at me and laughed.

"What?" I asked.

"It's just that you seem so powerful and you knew all these greek words and you seemed like you have had years of experience and you asking me about your mom."

"Okay fine." He said. "Hecate is the goddess of magic, sorcery, witchcraft, crossroads, trivial knowledge, necromancy, and the mist."

"That's a lot of things." I said

"Yes, indeed." He replied. "How did you know all that magic stuff? Have you done stuff like that before."

"No, and I have know idea how I did it.  It just came... naturally." I replied.

He considered this for a while and with a few more turns we were at the dorms.

"How am I ever going to find my way around here."  I asked

He smiled and said, "I'll help you at first but you'll get it."

"I don't want to get it." I mutter under my breath but he hears.

"Why?"  He asks.

"I don't like it here." I reply. "Obviously Aesop doesn't like me plus the whole underground feel is creeping me out.  Isn't there anywhere else for demigods?"

"Yes." His expression is dead serious.  "I wouldn't think about it though.  If you try to leave and you are successful you are banned from the Albany Academy forever.  Plus there is a slim chance you will even be able to get out.  It is hard enough for most people but you are super popular here and you won't be able to slip away unnoticed."

"Oh, but if I did would you help me?"

"Zoe, please don't try."

I stared him down until he finally said, "ok fine."

"Let's plan on it then." I said.

He gave me one last glance and walked away.

I open the door and walk into the girls dorm.  It is a huge room with lots of girls in it.  There are beds in 16 rows of many beds.  An older girl walks up and greets me.

"Hi my name is Emma Brown I am a daughter of Athena.  I'll show you around and you can meet everyone.  But we can do that all tomorrow, I bet you're pretty tired from the fight."

She showed me to my bed and I took off my winged shoes.  I didn't realize how tired I was until I got in bed as soon as I put myself in bed I fell asleep.
