Bus

We were waiting around for a bus to come by.

"This is ridiculous.  Surely we have enough money for a plane ticket." Said Logan.

"Three plane tickets, from New York to California.  Even if we did we wouldn't be able to buy anything else."  I said.

"Oh, come on Zoe.  You could probably just forge it with a magic spell.  Quick way to California."  Said Bianca.

"No."  Said Logan angrily.  "We are not going to trick people or steal anything."

I could tell Bianca was thinking the same thing as me.  A son of Hermes mad about us trying to trick someone.

"Let's just take the bus."  We waited for a few more minutes and then a bus finally came.  We hopped on board, payed and then sat down.  Logan sat a few seats back for me and Bianca out of anger.

"I've never seen him that angry." I said.

"Neither have I.  But don't be so hard on him.  He has his reasons."

"What do you mean?"

"When you did that truth spell 20 minutes ago he said something.  I would tell you but I think it should be his choice to tell you or not."

I nodded.  You want to Iris Message Melody when we get to California.

"Sure.  That could be a while though.  How do you know about Iris messaging?"

How did I know about Iris messaging?  I shrugged.  "I guess some memories are coming back to me."

I opened up my backpack and took out my camera.  I had brought it and my picture book just in case.  I stuffed it back in my bag not really sure what I was.

"You're a good healer Bianca."

She started laughing, really hard.  "No.  I am not a good healer.  I've been at camp half blood for 3 years and that is about the best i could do.  I know a lot about the facts, but when it actually comes to healing I can hardly do anything.  It's a good thing that the wound wasn't much worse.  But thank you."

"I think you are pretty good.  I'll tell you what I said during the truth spell if you tell me what you said."

She looked down and shook her head.  I decided not to push.

"You know Zoe, Flynn and Logan both like you."

"Okay then."  I said trying to close the subject.

"I wish Tom wasn't such an idiot."

"What do you mean?"

"For one he said he would go to the dance with me and he steered clear the whole time.  He is completely ignorant and never does anything fun."

She really did like Tom but I didn't know why.  From what I heard he was nothing likeable.

"This probably isn't anything helpful, but what if you try to make him jealous.  You could figure out if he likes you or not.  Start hanging out with another guy, see if he cares."

"Alright.  I will try it."

It seemed like we were on the bus for hours when it came to a sudden stop.  We were in the woods and I don't know why we had stopped.

The man driving the bus stood up and said, "The engine is making some weird sounds.  I am going to check it out.  Don't worry everything will be okay."

Logan walked up to us looking a little worried.  "We need to leave."
