CHAPTER 17:
LOUIS' POV
I was getting ready for my 'date' with Eleanor Warner today. And just like Eleanor had said, the President had told my protectors that it would be safer for me in public, and I won't go mad by being confined in my house. And sure, they'll keep an eye out for me too.
Zayn's behavior was amusing to say the least, as ever since I had told him about Eleanor, he was not teasing me much. Not even talking to me more than necessary. Maybe 'cos he doesn't know that this date is fake? Yep. Everyone thinks it's pretty much real. And the President even approved of me to date his daughter, how funny is that?
After styling my hair and placing my glasses back on, I was ready. I looked around the house, and heard emo music drifting out from Zayn's room. Rolling my eyes, I went to get the door. One of the agents that was assigned to stand outside my apartment building, was on the other side, informing me that Eleanor was here, and she had also texted me. That girl and texting.
I clambered downstairs and there standing in the apartment complex parking lot was a limo. A freaking limo.
"What. The. Hell?" I whispered to myself. A guy in black shades and a black suit- oh, right- a Secret Service agent appeared beside me, gesturing to the limo and opening the door for me.
"Hi Louis!" Eleanor greeted me, all smiles.
"Hey, El," I smiled at her, calling her by her nickname as she'd told me to.
"So, ready for the best date of your life?" she asked me cheekily, but I know she was just having fun.
I winked back at her. "Sure."

"Whoa!" I gasped, looking around the huge building we were in, also known as New York's largest entertainment center. Yep. We were in Times Square right now. Well, in a huge bowling alley slash restaurant slash something, something. I can't believe I've never been here!
"Whatcha wanna do first?" El asked, tapping on her phone, then placing it back in her fancy purse.
I looked over at the entrance of the huge bowling alley, where the sounds of pins being knocked over and cheers of stike! could easily be heard. "How about bowling?"
Eleanor followed my gaze, then smirked. "Excellent choice, my friend! Shall we?" She held her hand out.
I laughed, accepting her hand. "We shall."

"I whooped your ass so bad!" Eleanor crowed, then bit into her free burger.
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah."
Eleanor snorted. "You're just bitter 'cos you lost to a girl, and now you're buying her free food! Hah!"
I laughed, unable to keep it in. You can never be serious when Eleanor is around. She can even make the Mona Lisa grin. And she was certainly not like how you'd expect the First Daughter of the US to be.
I mean, sure. She was sassy, she was into fashion, but wow, she sure ate like a dude!
"What are you starin' at?" El cocked an eyebrow. I smirked, shrugging.
"Nothing. Just observing how you eat like a trucker," I snickered.
"Oi! Meanie!" Eleanor leaned over and smacked me, but she too was laughing. We calmed down a little after a while.
"So, what should we-"
"Whoa!" I cut El off.
"What?" Eleanor frowned, turning around to look at what I was looking at.
