My dearest Melissa,
I just wanted to let you know, that I am alright. Gladly I could escape the guards, I was fast enough. I also wanted to let you know, that I love you. More than anyone else.
Yours forever
Enjolras

Tears filled my eyes as I read his words. I looked at Courfeyrac and smiled slightly, before I flung my arms around his neck. "Thank you! Thank you so much.", I said.

"A pleasure.", he replied smiling and returned the hug.

"I have to see him.", I said excitedly.

"Do you think, that's a good idea?", he asked me.

"I don't knowm, but I also don't care.", I said and walked to my closet. I chose the dress, I wore when I first met Enjolras. "Could you please wait for me? I don't know, if I can find the café again."

"Of course.", Courf said and left the room to give me privacy.

"Melissa, take care of yourself. If your parents find out-"

"Go and tell them, if you want to. I will go either way." Stefan sighed. "Now please go. I'd like to change."

"Sure.", he said, left and closed the door behind him.

I changed into the dress and left the room. "I'm ready.", I said smiling. Courf and I walked to the big exit door, Stefan behind us, when I heard my mother behind us. "Where are you going?"

I sighed and turned around. "I want to go on a walk with my friend Courfeyrac."

She looked at him suspiciously. "I will go with her. Believe me, your Majesty, I will look after her.", Stefan said. My mother looked at Stefan for a moment, then she nodded. "Alright." I smiled and we left the castle.

We rushed through the streets and Courf told me a lot about the planned revolution. "I'm sorry, Melissa.", he said, after he had finished.

"No please. You don't have to be. My father is an awful king, if he lets all of this happen. I see that myself.", I said.

"And what about Enjolras? Is he also a member of these... ABC Amis?" Courf chuckled quietly. "Yes. He's kind of our leader." I stopped walking and looked at him.

Enjolras was their leader? Then it didn't matter how the revolution ended, he would die either way. My father would have him killed. I shook my head, pushing that thought out of my head.

"Are you alright, Melissa?", Stefan asked. "Yes, I'm fine.", I lied.

We kept on walking and after some minutes we arrived at the café. We stepped inside and walked up the stairs. Enjolras and some others were standing at a table, looking at the papers in front of them. Courfeyrac walked over to them and greeted them.

"Did you give her the letter?", Enjolras asked him eagerly. Courfeyrac shrugged. "I don't know. Did I?", he asked smiling and pointed at me.

I stood at the end of the stairs and smiled. Enjolras smiled widely, when he saw me. Then he rushed over to me and wrapped his arms around me. "I love you, Melissa.", he simply whispered, but it was enough to make my eyes fill with tears.

"I love you, too, Enjolras."
