Being Cedrics treasure

Cedrics P.O.V :
I had successfully completed the first task with the quickest time and was first on the leader board followed closely by Krum. The egg that I captured from the dragon was a riddle.
Come seek us where our voices sound, we cannot sing above ground

An hour long you have to look, to recover what we took.

The first part was simple. The second event was in the black lake with the merpeople. They've obviously taken something but what?

I ran round the castle in hopes of finding my girlfriend y/n to tell her the good news but she was nowhere to be found. As I was rushing around i bumped into Potter. As he helped me in the first event by warning me about dragons I decided to give him a clue by telling him it's not a bad place for a bath .

I was getting more worried by the minute. I asked every hufflepuff I passed but no one seemed to know. Harry came to the library earlier on where I was still looking for y/n. He was reading books about breathing spells. That reminds me! I need to practice my air bubble spell as the event is in the sea. He was sat with Mad eye moody when he ushered Hermione and Ron away from Harry. Something was off about that professor , he wasn't himself.

With no signs of y/n, I glumly made my way to the starting line of the event, still unaware of my "lost item". I noticed that Harry was looking around for someone. Probably the other members of the trio since he was walking with Nevile. There was 30 seconds left until we had to dive in. I got my wand ready to cast the spell. "3..2..1..Go" said Mr. Crouch. Three of us dived in, harry however fell in. I cast the spell and thankfully it worked. Krum had transformed his upper body into a shark and swam away. Fleur had copied me and Harry...well...I think he had gillyweed since he was choking on something green. I swam through the thick vines of weeds looking for something I might have lost.

I swam for half an aware until I came across a clearing. In the middle were four bodies, alive but currently frozen. Hermione, Ron, a little girl and...y/n! That must be why me and Potter couldn't find them. I looked around for the other competitors but no one was there. I swam towards my girlfriend sighing in relief that she was okay. I broke the rope holding her down and wrapped my arms securely around her waist. Harry swam towards the bodies as well going towards Ron. I checked my watch and saw we had 25 minutes left. I tapped it to get his attention and he nodded in response. As quick as I could, I paddled all the way back to the starting line. Once there, I realised that I had come first since no one else was there! Y/N had become unfrozen when her head was ubove water. I covered her in a warm towel and hugged her tight. I rested my chin on her head and kissed her hair, "I was so worried I lost you, I love you y/n" I whispered. "I love you too Cedric!" She smiled and pecked my lips.
