Sorting Hat (Harry/Draco)

You and draco had been best friends since...well forever. Even though he is a year older and started Hogwarts last year, he still manages to keep in touch. You loved reading your weekly letters from him. Your personal favourites were him moaning about the one and only harry potter which always brightened your day. This year, however, is different as it's your first time.

On the train you sat next to Draco who was with crabbe and goyle. You were discussing what house you were to be put in. "I think your going to be in Slytherin like me" He stated. You shook your head. "I'm willing to place a bet ill end up in Gryffindor" you replied. Draco had a glum look on his face at the mention of Gryffindor. "Don't worry just cause Potter is in Gryffindor and is mean to little dwaco doesn't mean I will " you smiled smugly. "Fine I bet you ten galleons!" He said. "Deal!" You shouted imedietly. "I'm going to look around and try to make friends with someone in my year" you said before leaving.

You were half way down the train when you reached a trunk with two ginger haired kids and two brunettes. You tapped on the window, "mind if I sit in here?" The brunette boy opened the door, "not at all" He smiled. You sat down. You were getting lost in his eyes when you noticed the mark on his forehead. Gasping you said, "my goodness your Harry Potter! So you must be Ron", you said pointing at the ginger lad, "and your hermione" She smiled and stuck out her hand. "I'm sorry but I'm not quite sure who you are" you shyly smiled at the ginger girl who looked no older than you. "I'm Ginny Weasley, Rons sister. I'm a first year, I take it you are as well" you nodded. Ron interupted, "not to sound rude but how did you know who we were . I mean everyone sees Harry and we just sit there awkwardly" He smiled. "I'm friends with Draco who sends me weekly letters mostly complaining about you actually!" You laughed and the others joined. "I do find it highly amusing. Oh and I'm y/n by the way"

Dracos P.O.V :
I went to go and find y/n after she left to see if she was okay. Little does she know I have a huge crush on her and don't want her getting hurt. I got about half way when I found her in a carriage with guess who? WEASLEY, POTTER, and the MUDBLOOD! I was fuming and went back to the carriage with Crabbe and Goyle.

(Sorting ceremony) your P.O.V :
I was standing by Ginny waiting for my name to be called. "Ginny weasley" Called professor Mcgonagall. She nervously sat on the stool. All her family was a Gryffindor so it's no doubt why she was placed there. I saw Harry, hermione and Ron cheering extra loud along with to ginger twins. They must be her older brothers. "Y/n y/l/n" Oh no. My turn. I sat on the stool. I glanced at Draco. He was glowering at Harry. Odd. Harry was smiling ready to cheer for whatever house I was in. "Hmm. Very difficult. Gryffindor or Slytherin. I'll go with...Gryffindor!" I stood up and beamed at my new house. Draco looked gutted but gave me the money nonetheless. Harry looked very happy both me and Ginny are in Gryffindor. I'm just glad I proved Draco wrong!

A/n I know Ginny doesn't sit next to them on the train just roll with it 😂
