Battle of Hogwarts- Hermione

Some parts may be in a different order or happen differently to the book/film but this is how i wrote it, its not meant to be the exact same- Zoe

Bodies were everywhere- death was everywhere. No where here was safe anymore. More and more death eaters swarmed in. Each of us here, which wasn't a lot, tried to hold back as best as we could to protect Harry and Hogwarts from being destroyed.

Not long had passed since voldermorts threat and nobody knew what to do. Most argued that Harry should stay here- like me, hermione and Ron, but Harry thought that by going no one else would get hurt. So that's what he did. We were all so worried but had little time to grieve as the fighting started up again. Even the teachers stayed to help as well as the whole hufflepuff house. Sparks of light flew everywhere, blue, red, white and green. Professor Mcgonagall had cast a spell that made all the concrete statues fight for us as well.
It was a huge battle, one that would no doubt go down in history. No one gave up although many were injured or tired.

-Skipping the part in the woods-

. Just then, Hagrid came from the woods carrying something and surrounded by death eaters. The fighting froze as if someone had pressed pause. Each of us were craning our necks to see what- or who, it was. Bellatrix came out cackling followed shortly by the man himself. "I..killed Harry Potter!" He spat. One or two people gasped but most stood silent, too shocked to do anything else. Unsatisfied with the response, he said it again a little louder, "I KILLED HARRY POTTER" a few more gasped and he smirked now pleased with their response. A tear slipped down my face and Hermione looked as Though she would break down at any minute.

Hermiones P.O.V
No it can't be true! Not harry he's the only one that can defeat him! Voldermort made a speech but I kind of blanked out too shocked at the news. I glanced at y/n to see if she's okay. She's like a sister to me. If she dies I don't know what I would do. Thankfully, she was alright. Voldermort had asked if any of us were going to make the 'wise decision' to join him. I didn't expect anyone to but then Lucius called out to Draco. Draco had a sad almost guilty look on his face as he walked out, knowing that he would be dishonoured if he were to refuse. Voldermort met him half way in an almost mocking hug. Draco didn't move or flinch at his touch just remained still, then joined his parents. Then the boy I never thought would betray us, Nevile, stepped forward! Every death eater laughed, "I must admit I was hoping for better. What do they call you?" Nevile stuttered "Nevile longbottom" they all laughed again. Nevile then made a speech about us, Harrys death, and the future. I don't know what he was expecting to achieve from it but it gave him confidence. Then as if by magic, Harry sprung to life in Hagrids arms and started throwing spells at voldermort. Nevile got thrown back by a death eater and so the fighting began.

We had finally killed the last horcrux, Nagini, and voldermort was at his weakest. It was just a matter of spells until he would die. Me and y/n were fighting together side by side so that we can both keep an eye out for each other. We were going strong until a large hand grasped her arm and yanked her back. She screamed. I tried to help but spells prevented me from getting to her!

Your P.O.V :

Blood was running down my arm. The thing that grabbed me had thrown me against a tree. It turned towards the moon and I got a glimpse at who it was...Fenrir Greyback! I was about to grab my wand when I realised I'd dropped it by Hermione. Greyback howled at stalked over, examining me. Defenceless, I sat awaiting pain, and sure enough it came. Fenrir slashed my clothes going through to my skin barking every so often. I glanced at hermione who had a few death eaters attacking her. She did try to distract him by howling also but greyback knows that trick. I gave Hermione a sad smile before he bit me. I gasped at the excruciating pain and blacked out.

Hermiones P.O.V :
"Nooooo!" I screamed. I hexed the remaining death eaters and ran over to y/n. I threw every spell I could muster at Greyback but he just ran away. I dropped to my knees and cradled y/ns head. No she wasn't dead- she was just a werewolf . Every full moon just forget about us all and try to kill us! A hand was placed on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Ron. He gave me a look of sympathy. "You know she wouldn't want this. She was like your sister she'd want you to put her out of her misery." Spoke Ron. Although I was deverstated, he was right. She hates werewolves and being one certainly isn't on her agenda. Glancing back down at her still body I cried, I can't do that to my best friend. "Ron please do it for me..." I wept. I'm never normally one to break down like this but y/n is family. I can't handle loosing another person I love dearly today but it has to happen. Ron nodded no emotion on his face. He raised his wand at her chest, she was still in my arms, "Avada kedavra! " I looked away. I felt the electric green bolt hit her chest. My fingers were on her neck searching for a pulse, there was none there. I kissed her head and laid her body down on the grass. I cast a spell to make flowers grow around her and walked away. Too afraid that if I look back I will never forgive myself...
