Cedric's date?

You were beginning to feel nervous. Of course your nervous! The Ball is around the corner and you haven't got a date - in fact you were sure that you were the only one in Hufflepuff that didn't. Many guys had asked you but you turned them down but you want to know the most heartbreaking thing? Your Own boyfriend hasn't asked you!

You spent most of your free time sat by a window in your dormitory thinking about Cedric. You haven't actually seen or spoken to him in weeks. What kind of a boyfriend does that? Your best friends (y/f/n) and (y/f/n) have been helping to keep you the slightest bit happy by telling jokes, the latest gossip or bringing you extra pudding but nothing was working.

"That's it I can't do it anymore!" I yelled at them. "He's obviously taking someone else!" They rushed over, "No no y/n don't think like that!" One started but I cut her off.
"I can think how I like! I'm sick of waiting for something that isn't going to happen! I'm going to find him and break our relationship off!" You said ,tears threatening to fall.

You marched down the stairs to the main room. As you were walking down you heard voices, one stood out in particular- Cedric! You knelt behind the bannister and listened in.

"Right is everything ready? Flowers, balloons and music?" You heard him asking Cho.
"Yes Cedric don't worry she'll love it" He smiled sadly, "Do you think she'll forgive me for ignoring her-"

At that second you ran down the rest of the stairs and jumped into his arms. He was taken back but once he saw it was you he hugged back just as tight. You saw him nod to the side but thought nothing of it until...

"SUPRISE" everyone shouted. You were beaming. "What's all this for?" Cedric took your hand in his. "Y/n will you do the honour of accompanying me at the Ball?" You smiled and rapidly shook your head yes. He smiled in return and smashed his lips to yours. Everyone was cheering in the background. He rested his head in the crook of your neck still hugging you. He mumbled, "I hope you can forgive me for ignoring you but as you can see, I was busy" you kissed his cheek, "I forgave you the minute I saw your face again!"

A/n I'm so sorry for not posting! I'm going to forget the whole "post every other day" rubbish as I can never stick to it.
