"JUVIA WHY ISN'T MY SUIT PRESSED?!" he exclaimed angrily.

"I-I'm sorry G-Gray sama. I-it's j-just that my hand is-" I was cut off when he pinned me roughly against the wall. Tears formed in my eyes. He's hurting me.

Don't cry Juvia! You are strong! I said to myself.

"What about your hand? You're just here at home all day, everyday, and you had one thing which I told you to not forget to do. So now, here we are, and I'm going to be late for my meeting because I have to drop by a laundry shop to get my suit properly pressed and it's all your damn fault! You useless woman!" He said angrily and slapped me. I felt dizzy, probably because of the impact of the slap.

"You really know how to ruin my day, just like how easily you've ruined us." He muttered as he pushed me hard and I crashed against the wall. Then, he leaves without saying anything. I was shocked when I tasted blood on my lips. I must have busted it earlier. Oh well. I guess I have another wound on my face. Lucky me. I stood up and went to the bathroom to tend to the wounds on my lip.

I gasped when I saw my face on the mirror. I do not recognize myself. My cheek is so red, maybe because of him, when he slapped me. I winced when I touched my face. This time, I couldn't help the tears streaming down on my face. What did I ever do to deserve this? Why is Gray-sama doing this to me? Why?...Why did he not believe me? Does he not love me anymore?

I stopped crying when my vision blurred. I've been like this lately. I must have a problem with my vision and I seem to have hearing problems as I could hear a faint ringing in my ears.

"Ahh!" I winced. My head hurts again and I reached on either side of my head but I can't control the pain.

"Ahhh!" I cried. This pain is making me panic. It seems like I can see and feel the world tilt and I fall to the floor, still clutching my head. The pain is indescribable. I don't know what to do! Mavis, help me!

"Mrs. Fullbuster," the doctor entered through the curtains and closed it behind him. He had a robust build and a striking blonde hair. It seems like I've seen him before. He approached me and his lips were tightly pursed. I was on a hospital bed in the emergency room. I decided to call myself in because I was so afraid of the pain in my head. "The scan results are in. Please take a deep breath." The doctor instructed in a hushed tone.

My eyes were wide, and I just decided to do what he told me to do. Inhale, exhale.

"The imaging results show that there's a mass pressing on your left parietal lobe. Initial measurement is at 1 centimeter in diameter."

I froze. Am I hearing this right? "What?"

The doctor took in a deep breath and pressed on, "There's a tumor pressing on your parietal lobe. Headaches, nausea, sudden vision and hearing problems, and muscle jerking...you have manifested the symptoms for brain tumor."

"Surgery is highly recommended, especially if all of the tumor can be removed. We can do a biopsy first to check if it's malignant or benign."

I scanned his white robe for his name. Dr. Laxus Dreyar. I wanted to know the name of the bearer of this news. Laxus. Oh wait. I do know him! I am surprised because I didn't know that this is where he is and this is what he is now.

Well, there's some comfort in knowing that the person who delivered such grim news is someone I already knew.

"B-but Juvia is afraid of surgery," I said as tears started streaming down on my face.

"Excuse my manners, but you are Gray's wife, am I right?"

"Y-yes..." His wife. On paper.

Laxus smiled and laid a comforting hand on my arm, "Well, don't be scared. You will be able to get past this, I'm sure of it. Gray will also be with you every step of the way."
