Title: Message from the Editor

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry that this is not a chapter, but I hope that you've been enjoying the latest chapters of this story so far.

I'm the editor working with Author-san on this story. She has many brilliant and great ideas, but while I was reading this story some months ago, I thought, "Hmm. This could be better."

So I took it upon myself to lend her a hand because I think this story deserves more readers, despite its many flaws. It's actually a great coincidence that both Author-san and I are from the same country. That way, she and I can communicate better.

Now I'm here to tell you that aside from working with Author-san in coming up with a plot for the next chapters and working on how the story is told, I've also been working on the previous chapters. And I am ecstatic to announce that the first five chapters of this story has been edited and revised.

What changed?

Well, I know that probably some of you have cringed with how cruel Gray has been in those chapters. With the revisions, I sort of downplayed it a bit, because honestly, with that amount of violence, I think any woman should already be walking out of anyone's lives, regardless of how deep feelings run.

I also sort of changed how Juvia was characterized in the first few chapters of the story. Of course, Juvia will still have this sense of naivety, but I also decided to downplay that a bit and incorporate in her a woman who can be empowered to take charge of her life. After all, Hiro Mashima's true characterization of Juvia does run a wide and wild spectrum, but in a nutshell, she embodies grace, determination, and strength. So, that's something that you'll see in Juvia.

You may also notice that a few details have been added in those chapters. This is my patchwork. I wanted to bring out the best in Author-san's ideas by adding in some complementary details that will make this story an interesting read. There will be no significant change in the plot, but what you might notice is that the story is now more cohesive and more realistic. I think my significant age difference with Author-san has helped a lot with making that happen. (Oh and don't ask about our ages. That's rude!)

The edits for the other chapters are not yet done and it may take me some time for me to be able to catch up since I do have a day job and I am still completing a master's degree, as of this writing. That and, I've been tapped by other writers to help them with their work at another fanfiction platform. I am a writer, too. I do have works of my own, but the inspiration to write another one hasn't really come to me yet, so I help writers with editing their stories to try to keep my muse going. It also brings me great joy and it relieves stress.

So yeah, anyway, trust that I will keep working on editing the other chapters and transform this story into something that you'll love to re-read in your Wattpad library.

Ah, I think I've said quite a lot. I'm sorry. Here, please take a cookie and do read the first five chapters of this story. Of course, always be on the lookout for updates!

I'm thrilled to see what happens next! Enjoy reading!

Toodles,
