So, Blink-182, Sum 41, and Good Charlotte have all had something of a revival in the last year, since 5sos have been a thing that exists. All great pop-punk bands who had mainstream success in the early 2000s but had fallen off a bit in recent years. And I'm not saying 5sos did that. I would never say that, because they are all amazing bands in their own right and to credit someone else with their comebacks would be disrespectful. But a part of the reason they were able to come back, is that there is suddenly a huge mainstream market of young music fans who want guitar-driven pop/rock again, something we haven't seen in easily a decade. And 5sos did THAT. And I'm proud of my boys.
