Chapter 26

Luke in brown hair oh god.

I think I only have like 9 chapters left of this story :( breaks my heart tbh.

Luke's POV:

My body wakes me up... naturally for once. I'm surprised my mom let me sleep in. She probably thought I needed it after everything that has happened in the past 3 days.

I look down at my floor expecting to see Michael in pikachu pajamas. But he isn't there. I get out of bed and walk down my stairs.

I spot my mum and Michael in the kitchen sitting at the counter...laughing. Well shit there talking about me aren't they.

"Good morning Luke, we were just talking about you." Yup what I thought mhm.

"Come sit sweetie" my mum says to me while gesturing to the chair next to Michael.

"Morning mum, morning Michael." I respond to them while taking a seat and grabbing the muffin my mum hands to me.

Michael nods his head and smiles "Morning Lukey."

Okay I'm just going to ignore that.

I just laugh as a response.

I look over at Michael "So what-" I get cut off by Michael's phone ringing.

"Hello?"
"Hey cal"
"Okay yeah."
"Wow this early, its 12:34pm man"
"Alright fine, fine we will be there."
"Alright see you soon, yup bye."

That was the whole conversation Michael had with this unknown person. Who would wanna talk on the phone at 12pm on a Thursday anyways.

"Uh so who was that?" I ask because I'm kind of nosy, I will admit.

"That was calum, I'm going to drive to his house to pick him up. Ashton is being allowed to go home and we are going to hospital to pick him up. His mum couldn't pick him up because she changed her work schedule to the morning so she could pick up Ashton tonight, but he wanted to leave the hospital now."

"Alright yeah that's fine. Am I coming with?"

"Oh yeah sure you can."

"Alright cool lets get ready."

Me and Michael both thank my mum for breakfast and then we go up to my room to get dressed.

Michael, Calum, and I are waiting in the waiting room at the hospital right now. I can't stop shaking, I hate being here but I wanted to come to be here for Ashton. 

Its just a hospital is never a good place to go to, I mean think about it you only go to hospital if there is something wrong. Why would anyone want there to be something wrong? This whole place is just sad I guess.

This is the hospital Addie and I went to when we got into the accident. I really miss her right now. Franky helps me cope with her gone but she isn't here right now. No Luke stop it don't do this to yourself, at least not now.

"Lucas Robert Hemmings!" I hear Calum scream at me.

Jesus what the fuck!
"What what?"

"I've been saying your name for like 10 minutes man, are you alright?"

"Yeah, yeah I am fine just thinking."

"Alright good. Well what I was trying to ask earlier before you got into your crazy Luke dreams if you wanted to stay with Ashton tonight. You can really speak to Ashton so me and Michael think it would be a good idea for you to stay over at his house tonight. Mrs. Irwin asked one of us to anyways." Calum sighs in the middle of his sentence. "S-she really thinks he needs us right now."
