*Pickup*

I walked over to the two men and asked if they'd like to sit. "Hello, welcome to the cafe. My name is Emma, can I get you two men a seat?" I smiled. "Yes please" one of them said. "Do you men have any ideas what you'd like to drink?" I asked politely. "I'll take a water" one of them said, I noticed he was American. I nodded and wrote it down, "And for you sir?" I asked. He looked up from the menu. "Oh sorry, I'll have a water as well" I nodded and noticed he was Australian. I went to the back and quickly made their drinks. I made them carefully so they would have time to look over the menu. I sat down their drinks. "Thank you" they said in unison. "Are you guys ready to order?" I asked. The American man looked at the Australian one. He gave him a look and the Australian one nodded. "I'll take a caramel mocha and a crepe please. You're name is Emma right?" he said. "Yes sir" I smiled. "Are you by any chance dating Danisnotonfire?"he asked. I slightly laughed. "Yes, that's me" I answered while writing down his order. "Cool! I'm Connor, and this is my boyfriend Troye" he said. (A/n: You're welcome Tronner shippers) "That's awesome! Troye, may I take your order?" I asked happily. "I'll have a vanilla mocha" he smiled. "Got it! It'll be right out" I smiled and walked back. I gave the order to the barista and waited for it to be ready. Luckily no one else walked in. They finished the coffee's and the crepe. I brought out their food. "There you are. Everything look and taste okay?" I asked. They both took a sip of their coffees. "Tastes great. Thanks so much" Troye warmly said. "You're very welcome. Is this on one bill or separate?" I asked. "One please" Connor smiled. He had an amazing smile.  I smiled back and made the bill.

 A girl walked up to me. "Hi, today's my first day. Do you have any advice? I'm a bit nervous" she asked shyly. "Hi, I'm Emma. Today is actually my first day as well. I can tell you just to be yourself and be polite" I informed her. "Thank you so much. I'm Natalie" she smiled. "Anytime. Here's my number if you ever need someone to talk to" I said handing her a small piece of paper with my number. "Thanks" she kindly said and walked to the back to get her apron. I smiled and took the bill out of the machine. I waited 10 minutes then gave them their check and took Connors empty plate. I went to the back and put the plate in the sink. Another family walked in, a middle aged woman and man, and who I believed to be their daughter.I walked over. "Good morning. Can I get you a seat?" I asked. "Yes please" the lady said. I nodded and walked them to their table. I let them get situated before I took their drink orders and made them in the back. I was worried people would see my scars. I was remembering to take deep breaths and be polite. I brought out their drinks.  "Wow, you were very quick" the man complimented. "Thank you. I'm just doing my job" I smiled. I took their orders and when I was turning back to walk around I heard the little girl ask he father, "Daddy, is she a hero?" I was so confused but just continued walking and I put in the orders. About 15 minutes later I brought out the food. "Does everything look okay?" I asked. "Yes ma'm thank you" the woman kindly said. The little girl asked me to come down to her level and I did. "I'm proud of you. My daddy told me that people that have scars are heros, because they thought about giving up, but they didn't. And now they help people that are hurting" she warmly said. "Thank you so much. What's your name hun?" I asked. "You're welcome. I'm Katelyn" she smiled. She was so cute. "It was so nice to meet you. I hope I can see you again sometime, I'm guessing you're about 7 or 8?" I asked. "I hope I can see you again as well.  Also, I'm 6" she smiled. She had  a great vocabulary for a six year old, I smiled and went back to the register so I could make the check. I noticed Natalie was doing very well with a family of four in the back. I smiled and finished the check. I had to sign the bottom of each check for a service thing. I signed it with a smiley face because of Katelyn. They were all finished eating and I took their plates, and I gave them their check.

 I walked over to the table where Connor and Troye were sitting to get their check and make sure everything was correct. I then cleaned off the table. Katelyn and her family left and I cleaned their table. I saw a sticky note note next to the completed check. It said 'Stay strong Hun, remember you're beautiful - Shawn, Alex, and Kate ' I smiled and put it in my pocket. 

*First break. 11*

I called Dan. "Hey baby. How's work?" he asked. " Hey. Pretty good, in total I worked with 8 tables. I saw the cutest little girl. She was so sweet" I answered. "Aw. Any creepy people I need to kill?" he asked. "No not yet" I laughed. "Good. Lunch at Nando's at 1?" he asked. "Sounds good" I replied. "Cool. See you then. I love you" he said after a second of thinking. "Love you more" I said smiling even though he couldn't see me. "I like your smile" he laughed. "Wha-" I started but looked up he was walking in the door. I hung up and walked over to hug him. "Hey" I smiled. "Hey babe" he smiled back. I hugged him tightly, my face was pressing against his chest. He gently hugged me back while rubbing my neck. Him and Phil were the only people I let touch my neck. "Aw!" Sophia laughed as we pulled away. I smiled. "This is Dan, my boyfriend. Dan, this is my boss Sophia" I introduced them. They both nodded. "Would you like a table?" I asked smiling. "Sure" he said and I picked up one menu and took him to a table next to the window. "Quadruple Espresso, with a cinnamon bun. Extra icing?" I asked before he could say anything. "Wow Em" he said in shock.  "That'll be right out" I laughed and kissed his cheek. My friend Blake walked up to me. "Flirting with the costumers eh?" he asked laughing. "He's my boyfriend smart one" I replied making his coffee. "4 espresso's are you guys planning to-" he started. "No!" I laughed. "First day on the job and you're still happily giving cranky people coffee? I'm surprised you haven't exploded" he said quietly. "There was a really nice kid this morning and she put me in a good mood" I answered While taking the cinnamon bun out and adding the icing.  He smiled but then got back to working. I took the plate and coffee out to Dan. "Here you go" I smiled setting down his food. "Thanks babe" he laughed. "Anytime. Why are you laughing?" I asked. "You being cute" he smiled. "You're the cute one" I laughed. He laughed back. 

"Costumer! I'll be right back" I said getting up and walking over. It was a man. About 26. "Hi, may I get you to a table?" I asked. He looked at me up and down. "Yeah" he muttered. I started becoming very uncomfortable, I knew this guy was gonna be creepy. I took him to a table that was close to Dan, just in case something happened. "I'm Emma and I'll be your waitress this morning. What can I start you off to drink?" I asked nervously. "I'll have a beer" he said. "I'm sorry we don't have that here. We only have non-alcoholic beverages" I replied. "I'll have a water then" he said. I walked away, I could feel him staring. I ignored it and made his drink. I brought out his water. "What would you like for a meal?" I asked quietly. "Nothing. Why don't you sit your sexy ass self down and have a drink with me?" he asked. I looked over at Dan with worry and terror in my face. He looked back, I could see the anger rising in his eyes. "No thank you" I said walking away. He grabbed my wrist. "Do as I say" he growled. "No" I coldly replied. I saw Dan behind him. "Get you're hands off of her now" Dan ordered. He punched him in the face knocking him out. I took out my phone and called 999. The police took him away and we closed the cafe for the day. 

(A/n: Hey guys! I have 2 bits of news. 1. I'm probably deleting my first book. 2. I don't think this will have a sequel because I have other and better ideas. But don't worry, we have manyyyy  more chapters left. Love you guys and I hope you're enjoying the book)
