Part 35

*Wednesday// Dan, Phil, and Alison's first day at work*

We all woke up at 6 to get ready. I had to be there at 9:45 and the rest of them had to be there at 10:20. I worked until 4:30, so did they. Luckily, we all had the same lunch hour. We all got ready and left at 8. 

We walked to the tubes. "Good luck today guys" I said as we stepped foot on the train.  "You too. If anything bad happens call one of us. We'll all go all ninja on them" Phil laughed. Dan and Alison nodded in agreement. "I will. Thanks guys" I laughed. Dan was holding my hand tightly, I could tell he was a bit nervous. "You'll be okay, I promise" I reassured him. "Thanks" he smiled. I smiled back. We walked off and I was at the cafe before I knew it. "Bye guys" I said giving them all hugs and pep talks. "Alison, you got this. I believe in you. You can do it" I said as I hugged her tightly. "Thanks Emma" she smiled as we pulled apart. "Philly. You're gonna do great. I love you Lion" I smiled then he pulled me into a tight embrace. "Dan, you'll be fine. I know you will. You did work at that DIY store" I reminded him. "I pressed the panic alarm" he laughed. I laughed but replied; "I love you baby. I promise you'll do great" I said. "Thanks babe. I'm not worried about me. I'm worried about you, I don't want anything bad to happen to you. I love you more" he said. "I'll be fine my love" I smiled and stood on my tip-toes and kissed him. 

"I love you baby" he cooed. "I love you to" I smiled. I kissed his cheek and walked in. "Morning Soph" I said walking to the back to get my name tag and apron. "Morning Em" she happily said. I was actually quite glad to be back, I missed Blake, Natalie, and Sophia. I made sure everything was organized because of my awful OCD. 

*A few hours later*

I just finished my tenth table. Wednesday's were so busy. I walked up to my next customer, my head was down so I could sort out this dress. I lifted my head and said. "Hi, I'm Emma. Can I get you a table?" I asked before even looking at their faces. "Got a job as a waitress eh?" I heard a deep voice say. Percy. "And you are?" I lied. "You don't remember me? Wow. Can you get me a table for Four. Maybe my three friends will help you remember" he scoffed. Dylan, and Ava. But who was the fourth? "Follow me" I sighed leading him to a table that was next to one of Blake's guests. "What can I start you off to drink?" I asked. I was truly terrified, I was shaking and I tried keeping my wrists behind my back. "4 waters" he said bitterly. I nodded and walked to make the waters. "Blake" I whispered. "Yeah Hun?" he replied. "Please keep an eye on the table I'm working for. They used to bully me in school, to be honest I'm terrified" I admitted. "Of course" he smiled patting my shoulder.

 I brought out the drinks and Dylan and Ava were already there. "Emma" Dylan scoffed. "Dylan" I scoffed back. "So you do remember us?" Percy growled. "No, just a lucky guess" I said sarcastically. He started back with a smart ass comment so I cut him off. "Percy, don't even try it love. This will just end up like it did in secondary school." I said with a wide smile. "Wipe that grin off your ugly face" Ava snapped. "Nice to see you to Ava" I laughed. "Okay what can I get you guys?" I asked taking out a notepad. "Hey guys. WHOA EMMA HOLY CRAP!" I heard a guy say. Liam. I tensed up.  "Liam" I mumbled. Why were they all friends?  "What do you guys want to eat?" I asked. They all answered with coffee. I nodded and wrote it down. I walked into the back and made each of their coffee's. I really wanted to use salt instead of sugar but I didn't. I made them quite quickly. It ended up already being 1:05. I gave them their check and coffee's avoiding all conversation. Dan, Phil, and Alison walked in out of breath. They must have ran. "Hey guys" I said walking over to them and hugging them tightly. "Emma. Stay calm but" Phil started. "Yeah I know Dylan, Percy, Ava, and Liam are back there" I sighed. I told them I'd be right back and went over to the table. "Everything alright?" I sighed. 

"No. Come with me" Dylan, Percy, and Liam said in unison. I motioned for Dan and Phil to come with me. They followed close behind. "What?" I snarled. "You have to know you're fat right? How do you even fit in that dress?" Liam said through clenched teeth. I yawned. "Is that all you got?" I said. Liam threw a punch but Blake caught it. "I don't think so" he spat. Blake had Liam,  Phil got Dylan, Dan got Percy, and  Ava ran back so Alison and I got Ava. "Guys. I suggest you leave" Dan said. "Oh hey Dan" Dylan said. "Don't make me brake your nose again" Dan growled. "Baby, chill. I got this" I said. "Dylan, you and your idiot friends need to leave before we call the police. Understood?" I said walking up to Dylan and grabbing his collar. "Are we gonna make out now?" he laughed. "Only in your dreams sweetie" I laughed back. "You're leaving now. Clear?" I snarled. He nodded nervously. "Alright. You can let them go." They left luckily. 

*Home after work*

"That was an interesting day" I laughed as I took a slice of pizza and paced it onto my plate. "Yep" they all said engulfing in pizza. I laughed but sat down on the couch. "Lion king?" Phil suggested. Phil, Dan, and I covered our ears to block out Alison's screaming. The Lion King was her favorite thing ever. We put in the movie and watched it until 2 AM. Luckily I didn't have to work tomorrow since my boss hated Thursdays, we didn't have to work then .The dog sitter, Zoe, wouldn't have to come over. When Dan and I went to bed I could feel him shaking. "Baby what's wrong?" I asked. "I don't want you to be home alone by yourself. I just want you to be safe" he whimpered. "I'll be okay, I promise. If anything happens, I know what to do"  I reassured him whilst rubbing his back. "I love you" he whispered. I kissed his cheek. "I love you too" I replied. 

*The next morning*

I woke up to Dan gently moving his arm from around my waist. I pretended to be asleep so he wouldn't know he woke me up. About 30 minutes later he walked back over to my side. "I love you baby. Please, have a good day. Stay safe, I need you. Whatever the world throws at you, you'll be okay. I promise. I love you so much" he whispered then kissed my lips, not expecting a kiss back. I kissed him back sweetly. "You heard all that?" Dan asked as we pulled away. "Maybe" I laughed, leaning in and kissing his nose. "I love you" he said standing up. "I love you more" I smiled as I looked up into his chocolate brown eyes. He smiled, kissed my forehead, and walked out. 

I ended up getting 3 more hours of sleep and getting out of bed to take Abby for a walk. "Hey love, want to go on a walk? Yeah?" I laughed as I put on her collar and leash. I put on my yoga pants, a black tank-top, and black and white Adidas shoes. I put my annoying hair into a messy bun and walked out the door. We walked about 45 minutes then we went home and I fed her. I didn't realize I left my phone at home until I sat down at the kitchen table with a salad and water sat in front of me. I looked at my phone.

Dan: 230 messages. 4 missed calls

Phil: 12 messages. 5 missed calls

Alison: 43 messages. 2 calls

I laughed but rang Dan. He answered after one ring. "Emma! Are you okay?" he asked sounding worried. "Yes I'm fine. I just took Abby for a walk and forgot my phone. I'm perfectly fine" I laughed. "Okay, good. How's your morning been?" he asked. "Pretty good. I woke up, got dressed, did my hair, and left. Now I'm eating a salad and drinking water because I'm hot. How was yours?" I asked. He chuckled. "Good, I fell over an old lady though... Oops" he said. "You're freakishly tall" I laughed. "It's horrible (A/n: My fellow tall loves will understand this pain) some shorter people always walk slow in front of me, I can't take baths, I can't shower without crouching, and people always ask me to get them stuff" he answered, telling me about the tall life. I laughed and replied; "You're such a dork." He laughed back. "My boss is giving me an angry look. I'll call you on my next break. Love you" he said. "Love you more" I replied and hung up. 

I decided I'd make cookies. I went to Asda and got all my supplies. Dan, and Phil were in the back. Probably getting scolded for going on Tumblr instead of working. I got home and started making the shapes. I made Phil 2 lions, Dan and I 3 llamas  (he gets 2 I get 1) , and Alison 2 tigers. The shapes came out great! I decorated them and as soon as I finished individually wrapping each one, with a letter, they walked in. "Hey guys" I called as I put the baking sheet in the dishwasher. "What have you been up to?" Alison asked as she sat down on the bar stool. "I made cookies" I replied. "Coolio" she said and called Dan and Phil. I placed each of their cookies in front of them. "Emma, you over achiever. But seriously, thank you so much" he squealed looking at his lion cookie. Alison and Dan said the same thing. The doorbell rang and I went to answer it. It was the pizza delivery. I paid the man and sat the pizza on the table. "Dive in" I laughed as I sat plates down in front of them.
