"Jane...Jane...Jane!" The groggily eighteen year old shot up in bed to be face to face with the fifteen year old honey blonde, whose smile lit up the world."Maura? What are you doing?"
"It's snowing!"
Jane wanted to say 'We live in Boston, snow isn't anything new' but she didn't have the guts to do that to unbelievably happy tenth grader. "Yay." She smiled but it faded when she say the clock. "Maura it's five thirty in the morning!"
"I know!" Maura said excitedly. "Come on let's go play in the snow!" Maura said and that's when Jane noticed that Maura was already dressed in a heavy coat, a scarf, and boots.
"Maura." Jane groaned and laid back down.
"No come on Jane please. My family usually takes me out of town this time of year, I hardly ever get to see snow." Maura pouted and Jane couldn't say no to that.
"Okay." Jane said and leaned up. "Let me get clothes on."
Twenty minutes later Jane and Maura were outside and Jane was admiring Maura, who was making a snow angel.
"Okay Jane come make one." Maura said as she smiled up at Jane.
"It's cold." Jane whined and Maura rolled her eyes. Jane then rolled hers and laid beside Maura in the snow. She copied the younger girls actions and couldn't help but smile.
Suddenly Maura stopped and straddled Jane, grabbing a bunch of snow and dumping it on the Italian. "Shit!" Jane said trying to move but Maura had her pinned."Haha!" Maura laughed but stopped when Jane switched their positions and looked pissed. "J-Jane?"
"You think that's funny huh?"
"It was o-only a joke." Maura swallowed nervously, she was pretty sure she had made the older girl angry.
"Just a joke eh?" Jane said before grabbing as much snow as she could manage and shoving it down Maura's shirt.
"Ahh!" Maura screamed trying to move and Jane laughed so hard she fell off Maura.
"Paybacks a bitch." Jane said and Maura gave her a look then busted out laughing.
"Can we go inside now and make hot chocolate?"
Jane smiled at her. "Yeah come on." She helped the honey blonde up and started to walk towards the door. "You know tha-Fuck!"
"Jane." Maura laughed really hard. "Language."
"You just shoved snow down my shirt!"
"You shoved snow down mine!"
"Yes but mine was payback!"
"Yes but the first time I only threw it on you! You made snow to skin contact!" Maura said, both girls laughing and smiling really hard the entire time.
"Come on." Jane said and they walked in. "Just wait."
Maura smirked. "Oh, I'm terrified."
"What are you thinking about?" Smooth skinned arms wrapped around a thin but muscular waist. They were in Maura's office, the door was closed as were the blinds.
