"Jane you look like Frost when he sees a dead body." Korsak joked and Frost glared."Honestly, usually I would take offense but he's right. You're as pale as a ghost."
"We're telling Ma tonight, I wanted you guys here." Jane said quietly, feeling guilty she didn't tell them the plan over the phone.
"I figured." Korsak nodded, along with Frost and Frankie.
"How did you know?"
"Jane." Frost chuckled. "We're detectives, it isn't hard to put two and two together, but we will be by your side throughout this, as will Maura." Frost said said just as Maura put a reassuring hand on Jane's shoulder.
"He's right, I promised you whatever happens that I will always love you and that I won't leave you."
"Thank you." Jane smiled and hugged her.
"But Janie you can relax, Ma isn't going to hate you." Frankie said. "When is she getting here?"
Maura went to answered just as the door opened.
"I'm here and I brought wine." Angela smiled at Korsak and Frost. "It is good to see y'all."
"Good to see you too, Angela." Korsak smiled and hugged the elder Rizzoli.
"It's good to see all of us together." Angela said and everyone in the room agreed.
"Well, shall we eat?" Korsak asked and they nodded sitting at the table.
Small talk was made and wine was poured. Jane was extremely nervous, as was Maura. They tried to finally break the ice,Jane made the first move.
"Um Ma?"
"Yes baby?" Angela turned to look at her eldest child.
"I-I need to tell you something." Jane said, she could feel the nerves and felt sick.
"What is it?"
Maura looked at Jane and then her mother.
"F-first know that I love you." Jane said and Angela nodded.
"I know, I love you too. Jane you're scaring me."
"Ma um...Maura and I.. Maura and I are a couple Ma." Jane said and the entire table studied Angela, waiting for a reaction.
"Well." Angela said sitting her napkin down on the table and Jane felt her stomach drop. "It's about damn time." She smiled.
"Y-you're not mad?"
"Jane why would I be mad? You're my baby, my child, I love you. No matter what you do or what kind of person you are." The whole table smiled, except for Jane. Who just had tears spilling out of her eyes.
"Jane baby what's wrong?" Maura asked.
"I'm just so relieved." She got up and hugged her Mom. Frankie clapped a little and the rest smiled.
"I would never hate you Jane, but I'm serious about what I said, it's about damn time."
"Ma! Language."
"You're a good influence." She said to Maura when Jane said that.
"But no darling, I knew you were in love with her back in high school."
"What how?" She looked at Frankie who put his hands up.
"I promise I never said a word."
"You didn't have to." Angela started. "Jane I'm your mother, I know you. I could tell by the way you looked at Maura, the way you talked about her, you spent all your time around her, I just assumed the worst when you guys stopped talking. I figured that you told her and she reacted badly."
