"I have good and bad news" the doctor said as Aaliyah, mom, Ashley's mom, and I all stood around him waiting for an answer, praying she's fine and she can come home so I can tell her I love her and why I cheated, even though it's obviously not an excuse.
"Ms. Taylor's is gonna be fine. But I'm not sure if your were aware that she was pregnant" the doctor began.
"We knew" Aaliyah said, giving me a dirty look. I know I told her what happened with me and stuff but apparently she's still pissed. Ashley after all was her best friend to. They're like sisters.
"I'm so sorry to have to give you this news, but Ms. Taylor's has lost the baby" he said.
"What? But Ash is okay?" I asked, barely able to get the words out.
"A couple cuts and bruises but in a few weeks she'll be good as new" the doctor confirmed, making me cry tears of joy and remorse. She lost the baby? But she was fine?
