Hi guys,

I am not even sure how many people are reading this, or if even anyone is reading this, but I am going through a bit of a rough time at the moment and am therefore struggling with writing actual chapters. I have so many ideas, and I am sure that I'll manage to write new, proper chapters over the summer which I will spend mostly at home.

However, I decided to publish some random scenes which I have already finished until then, sort of like little sneak peaks.

I hope you guys are okay with that and I hope you like them

All the best,

Summer xxx

***********************************************************************************************So, I have thought a lot about actually using this scene at one point, but decided that it'll just stay a random snapshot from the time between the movie night and where I pick up again after the random scenes with the seventh chapter or so. I was on my way home from uni when my phone rang. A small smile spread on my face as I answered the call. "Hi, Louis." I heard him chuckle. "You sound quite happy to hear my voice, love." He said, the amusement evident in his voice. "You may want to go and get your ears checked, buddy." I told him while I tried to avoid walking into a pole which seemed to have popped up out of nowhere.

"I think my ears are working just fine, thank you very much, but I didn't call you to talk about my hearing ability. The lads and I are going clubbing tonight with a few friends and Sophia's gonna be there as well. You up for it?" Louis asked, sounding really excited by the idea to spend a night partying with his best friends. I sighed. "I wish I could, Louis, but I gotta finish this stupid essay by Monday morning and I have work on Saturday and my family's coming over on Sunday. I really can't go." I told him sadly. "Oh that sucks. I really wanted you to come." He told me and I could hear his disappointment.

Clubbing with One Direction was probably one of the things I had always wanted to do but my tight schedule really didn't allow it this weekend. "I have to admit I have always wanted to go clubbing with you guys..." I sheepishly admitted and I heard him laugh at the other end of the line. "Really? Are you serious? Was that something like your fangirl dream or something like that?" He was clearly amused and I was happy to have cheered him up, although he was now making fun of me.

"No, Louis, it's not a fangirl dream of mine. I just imagined it to be quite funny to party with you guys, especially after all the drunk interviews you gave at the BRITs a few years ago. Those were hilarious." He groaned. "Yeah, we got smashed that night. Management wasn't too happy but it was a great night, I can assure you that." I could imagine the smug look on his face and laughed. "I'm sure you did. Listen, I'm sorry that I won't be able to make it tonight, but I'll join you next time, okay?" "You're always welcome to join us, Claire. Not just tonight." I loved how he said my name and blushed a little bit, very happy that he wasn't able to see me right now. "Thanks, Louis, I appreciate the offer." He laughed. "Any time, love." And with that he hung up on me.

Later that night I was working on a particularly difficult part for my essay when I received a text. It was already past midnight and I was beginning to feel very tired. I lazily reached for my phone and grinned when I saw that Louis had texted me.

L.: Do you think unicorns prefer tomato sauce to mayonnaise? I NEED TO KNOW

I nearly fell off my chair laughing when my phone beeped, telling me that I had received another text message, this time from Harry.

H.: Don't tell Lou it's mayonnaise! He's being a meanie &some1 has 2 agree with me

I was laughing so hard by now that tears ran down my face. Who would have thought that drunk Louis and Harry would be so funny. I quickly replied to both of them.

C.-L.: I think they prefer tomato sauce, Lou.

C.-H.: Don't worry, Harry, I got your back.

Then I texted Liam, hoping that he wasn't as drunk as the others. I didn't even try Niall because well, it was Niall.

C.-Li.: Lou&Harry are discussing unicorns, do you think you could keep an eye on them?

He replied immediately.

Li.: Unicorns again? I'll try my best. Thx for telling me. Lx

I laughed and put my phone down again, trying to concentrate on my essay again, but it was no use. I was way too tired to concentrate and way over the point where I could form coherent sentences. After saving my draft, I turned off my computer and quickly got ready for bed. When I returned to my bedroom, my phone was blinking, indicating that I had received new messages. Snuggled up into my blankets, I opened the first few texts, which were from Louis.

L.: YOU TRAITOR HOW DARE YOU GO BEHIND MY BACK AND BOND WITH HARRY! WE ARE SO OVER!

L.: I didn't mean that, I still wanna be your friend. Your hair smells so good.

L.: Claire, please be my friend again, I swear I didn't mean it.

L.: CLAIRE PLEASE I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU

I laughed. He was SO drunk. This would be great for blackmailing at some point. And my hair smelled good? I had a minor fangirl attack because Louis Tomlinson had just told me that he needed me and that my hair smelled good! After I had recovered from that, I quickly replied to him.

C.-L.: Louis, I am sorry for siding with Harry, but I really think unicorns prefer tomato sauce. Thanks for the compliment on my hair, I use strawberry shampoo, you could try it sometime if you like. And last but not least, I never stopped being your friend. J C x

Then I opened the other messages which were from Harry and not less funny.

H.: thx 4 helping meeee but now louis is hitting me OW

H.: plz saVE ME CLAIRE

H.: CLAIRE REPLY TO LOUIS HE IS FREAKING OUT AND I NEED YOU TOO

H.: fine, don't reply to my messges. I am SO not sharing my crisps with you next time

Chuckling to myself, I quickly replied to Harry as well.

C.-H.: Harry, 1 stay away from Louis. 2, I replied to him, so calm down 3 fine but then I'm not sharing mine with you either C x

I turned my phone to mute, turned off the lights and tried to fall asleep, still smiling to myself while thinking about the hilarious drunk texts I had received that night.
