Hi guys,

another short scene that I wrote a couple of weeks ago. I'm recovering from a big operation right now and my concentration is therefore pretty much non-existent, but I really like this scene and wanted to publish SOMETHING. :)

All the love, S xxx

Hi, I might actually use this scene at some point, however I'll have to change that they're on a tour bus because it doesn't look like they'll be on tour again any time soon and I'll definitely not ignore the whole  hiatus thing, but maybe write my version of it. I hope you enjoy it anyway. It was one of my favourite scenes to write to I don't want to delete it. Summer xxx

Random Harry moment

I woke up way too early to be even considered an acceptable time, but as much as I tried, I couldn't fall back asleep. Carefully, I lifted Louis' arm up, which was wrapped around my waste, and quickly pushed my pillow into his arms when he started to stir.

Everyone else seemed to be sleeping so I quietly made my way down to the kitchen of the bus. While I was pouring hot water into a mug to make myself a cup of tea I suddenly heard a voice behind me. "Can't sleep either?" I nearly dropped my mug and turned around. Harry was leaning against the door frame with a smug look on his face, obviously pleased to have startled me, his curls pulled back into a messy bun, only wearing a pair of pyjama pants.

I put a hand over my heart and glared at him. "What the hell, Harry? Do you want me to die from a heart attack?" He shook his head, gave me a cheeky grin and made his way over to me. "Not at all, love, not at all. Do you really think that low of me?" he asked with a pout, but I could see the amusement evident in his eyes. "Well, you see..." I started to explain, but got slightly distracted by Harry hovering over me. I couldn't help but let my eyes wander over his bare chest and his beautiful tattoos and I only stopped when he cleared his throat. "Like what you see?" he asked and laughed at me as I tried to look everywhere but his face, my cheeks burning with embarrassment. I didn't see Harry as more as a friend, but he was still Harry and I would never be not a fangirl, no matter how deep I tried to bury my feelings inside of me.

I felt his long fingers take my chin and forced me to look up at him. "Hey, no need to hide that beautiful face of yours. I was only kidding, you know that, right?" I nodded and finally allowed myself to look into his gorgeous green eyes again. He gave me a concerned look, then let go of me and continued to make my long abandoned tea, while pouring himself a cup as well. I watched him quietly, leaning against the kitchen counter while trying to pull Louis' t-shirt, which I was using as my pyjama, down as much as possible to cover my bare legs. When he was finished he took both cups and motioned me to follow him to the living room area which took up most of the space on the ground level of the bus.

We both sat down and Harry, who was sensing that I was embarrassed about my lack of clothing, threw a blanket my way which I gladly used to cover my legs. He, however, remained shirtless and I desperately tried to keep my eyes on either his face or my tea.

"Soooo... any particular reason why you can't sleep?" he asked me and took a sip from his tea. I averted my eyes and shook my head. "Nope, no specific reason." I quickly took a big sip from my tea, but regretted it instantly as I burned my tongue.

I heard Harry put his mug down. "I know when you're lying, Claire." I looked up at him and he was staring at me with a concerned expression on his face. "Seriously, Harry, I'm fine." I lied but I knew he wouldn't believe me. "Stop lying to me, Claire. Tell me what's troubling you." I shook my head. "It's nothing really, just some stupid thoughts of an insecure girl." I told him and avoided his eyes. I heard him get up and a few seconds later I felt the sofa dip down, as he sat down next to me. He took my mug out of my hands and put it onto the coffee table next to his. "Claire, look at me." I hesitantly looked up at him. He gently pushed a loose strand out of my face and rubbed his thumb across my cheek. "What's wrong, love?"

I took a deep breath and nervously started playing with my fingers. "It's kind of pathetic... Promise me you won't laugh, okay?" I asked him and looked up from my fingers. He gave me a reassuring look. "Promise." I sighed. "It's just... do you remember when we first met and I didn't want to be friends with you?" He hummed as a sign that he was remembering and I continued. "Remember when I said that I was messed up and that I was not made for your world in the public? Well, turns out I was right." I said bitterly and looked down at my hands again. "What do you mean? What's going on, Claire? Is something wrong with you and Louis? Because you two seem very happy to me." I shook my head. "No, we're good. He doesn't even know I am having any problems." "Then what is it?"

I looked up at Harry, tears in my eyes. "It's the hate, Harry, from the fans and the media. I get hate every single day, people telling me to stay away from Louis or you or the other two, people telling me that I look too ugly to be dating Louis, that I am just using him for fame and people tell me to... to kill myself and sometimes, sometimes I just think that Louis would be better off without me dragging him down." Harry immediately pulled me into a hug. "That's complete bullshit, Claire. Please, please don't listen to anything they say, okay? They are just a bunch of very jealous people who believe that they have some kind of say in who we hang out with or date. They are wrong, Claire. You are beautiful and kind and funny and Louis is so incredibly lucky to be dating you and we are all very, very lucky to have you in our lives as our friend. We know the truth. We know that you would never use Louis, or us, for our fame, more like the opposite. Please don't let them get to you. We all need you, Louis needs you; I need you."

Tears were streaming down my face and I finally allowed myself to look up at Harry and saw that he, too, had tears in his eyes. He carefully wiped away my tears and then pulled me into a hug, my head resting against his chest. We stayed like that for couple of minutes, one of his hands stroking my back while he ran the other through my hair, until I sat back up again. "Thanks for listening to me, Harry. I really needed to get this off my chest and I didn't want to worry Louis." I told him truthfully and I saw him smile down on me. "Any time, Claire. I am here for you whenever you need someone to talk about, but I am sure Louis would be just as understanding as me." I nodded and drank the rest of my tea.

"Do you want to try to go back to sleep now? We still have a couple of hours left until we have to get back up." he asked me and when I nodded we quietly made our way back upstairs to the rest of the sleeping boys. Before I climbed back into Louis' bunk, I gave Harry another hug. "Thanks again, Harry, sorry for keeping you awake." He smiled down at me. "No need to apologise, Claire. I hope you can sleep better now." I smiled back at him and carefully climbed back into Louis' bunk.

He groggily opened his eyes. "Hey, is everything okay, love? Are you alright?" he asked me concerned when he noticed that I had cried. "I'm fine, Lou, go back to sleep." He opened his arms for me and I happily slipped underneath the duvet and lay my head on top of his chest. "We'll talk about this in the morning, love. Good night." He kissed the top of my head and gently started rubbing my arms. A few minutes later I was asleep.
