This poem is dedicated to Sreelakshmi, lover of cats and chocolates!!
Happy birthday!!!!!!❤🔷 You can often tell a lot of things by what people love. If someone's a cat lover, then you can be sure that they are incredibly affectionate. Soft. Tender and giving. They love to scratch little kitty behind the ears and watch her purr. Squeal with delight at the mere sight of a feline. We all know how difficult cats are to take care of. Hence, cat lovers tend to be independent and responsible.
🔷 People who love chocolate, tend to be, yes you guessed it, sweet. They retain the flavour of the dark brown delicacy in their hearts. Sweetness is in their blood. Their smiles are as unexpected as a gentle courtyard breeze. Sudden. Comforting. So refreshing.
🔷 Then, there are those people who are so legendary for their sense of humour, that people wait around for them to crack their next joke. A burst of loud, free-as-a-bird laughter. A tiny irrepressible giggle. Isn't it the best talent of all? To make someone laugh with so much abandon, that tears cascade down from your eyes?
🔷In this hurry-addled world of instant gratification and two minute pleasures, deliberation is often overlooked. Being thoughtful and insightful is a thing of beauty itself. Taking decisions with utmost care and precision. How some people always think about what the other person might feel. Putting yourself in other people's shoes. Empathy. Pure-hearted kindness.
