You know, that feeling you get after a long road trip? That time, you are returning home in the car, Exhausted, and you see those little landmarks you know so well. The landmarks leading you home. The green, fluorescent road sign. The old school. The large, gnarly banyan tree. The little bump in the road that startles you every time, despite the fact that you've ridden across it a million times. The bakery across the street, beckoning you with sugary smiles. The grocery store. And then.... The gate of your home, silent, speechless with joy seeing you back. And you feel this immense emotion- a heady mix of heart-dancing happiness and knee-weakening relief- filling you head to toe.
You know that feeling? That's the feeling I feel every time I see you.
