Apricots and pretty plums.
Apple red.
Musk melon yellow.
And gorgeous papaya orange.
For Eyes. Eyesight.
Vision. Perspective.
Vitamin B
Savoury dal.
Fluffy Rice, as essential as air.
Crisp whole grain sprouts.
The tangy briny taste of shellfish.
Rubbery liver.
For Skin. Nerves.
Feelings. Emotions.
Vitamin C
Zesty lemon.
Sprightly bright oranges.
Eye-watering tamarind sauce.
Citrus fruits. Decked up in lime green.
The sourness racing across your cheeks,
And making you screw your eyes shut.
For Immunity. Medicine for the army within you.
Resilience.
Vitamin D
Sunshine vitamin.
Bright azure beach.
Solar beams waltzing in the Lake.
The summertime Golden haze.
The warm buttery scent of the sun.
And the delicious heat.
For Unbreakable bones.
Strength.
Vitamin K
Green. Leafy.
Salted spinach.
Heavenly cream of spinach soup.
And Popeye the Sailor Man.
Crunch of fresh lettuce.
And steamed green broccoli.
For Blood. Ability to clot.
Forgiveness. Clog the anger.
