Chapter 21

Malhotra mansion, morning time.

Manik abruptly pick her up in his arms and said rather shouted loudly “Nandini… FAB 5 got their first album.” He then put her down and then nandini hugged him tightly and said “wow manik…. That’s really a very good news. Congra….”

But before she complete her sentence manik peak her lips stopping her and then said “o hello… ye kya kar rahi ho? Is this the way you will wish me?” then he continues in babies tone “I want my proper wish.”

By saying this he fused his lips on her kissing her lovingly yet passionately. He bit her lips harshly and then lick it to sooth her pain. They both were kissing each other with the amour and love. After good five minutes they broke the kiss to inhale the much needed oxygen.

After catching his breath manik said “now…this is my proper wish.” Listening his words she blush hard and said hitting playfully on his shoulder “manik….” He laugh at her and then she said “on a serious note. Album? I mean konsi company ka album?”

“Actually this album is of a music company ‘N-label’. And it belongs to one of our high school friend. He knows us and also aware of our music skills. So he offer us an album. Though it is a small music company but we accepted it as my shining star taught me that ‘a person should start from the start only.’”

Listening his last line she smile at him as he is telling her words only and referring it as a good thought. She then said keeping her head on his heart and hugging him “I am so happy for you all manik.”

Nandini is getting ready and manik is having his bath in when she heard someone’s shouts coming from the hall. She came towards hall and what she saw made her hell shocked and equally worried.

She show that the lady she never want to see in her whole life, is standing there. Yes niyonika, none other than manik’s so called mother niyonika Malhotra is standing there and shouting on the servants of the mansion “what is this? Are you guys out of your senses? From whose permission you guys change the interiors of my house? You all are fired…”

Listing this all the servants become horrified and all were almost ready to went out from the mension when nandini came from downstairs with full attitude which she saw niyonika during the last encounter with her and said confidently along with ordering “rukiye. Ap sab log kahi nahi ja rahe hei.”

She then turn towards niyonika and said looking at her with utmost hatred in her eyes “this house is belongs to me.” The she again look towards servants and said politely “So, aplog jaiye aur apna kam kijiye. And yes mohan dada, jo new butler aya hei use please, manik ke diet breakfast ki sari instruction bhi de dijiye.”

Niyonika become shocked to see this much confident in nandini and she is also shocked to see her saying Malhotra mansion her house. As she thought that nandini would have gone away from Malhotra mansion and also from manik’s life because last thing she heard is that manik lost his memories of nandini. At that time only she wanted to come back but harshad was continuously threatening her so she could never come back but now harshad is gone so she came back to manipulate manik again.

She was shoked to see nandini but still she is niyonika and she can’t lose that easily so she again said in her carefree voice “You middle class moralistic girl…” and before she utter next words an abrupt loud thud voice came from upstairs scaring the hell out of her “Niyonika….”

When manik walk out from the bath he heard nandini’s voice so he came out from room and show that niyonika is back and she is insulting his nandini and he can never bear it. Anger built in his eyes and he clench his fist out of anger and shouted in loud voice “Niyonika… don’t you dare to say a single word against my nandini. I won’t bear it remember that…”

Niyonika laugh sarcastically at him while he came downstairs and then she said “Oh come on manik. Your nandini???” then she look other side and continue in her carefree tone “whatever. But this is my house and I don’t want this girl in my house.”

Manik stood beside nandini and said angrily looking at her “nope. You are forgetting something niyonika. This house is equally mine as yours. And nandini is my life partner so this house is belongs to her also.”

When he said this words nandini is constantly looking at his face and she saw a glimpse of light in his eyes between his anger, hatred and pain also as he mansion about her being his life partner, she feel pride to having him in her life. And she knew now she don’t need to work up as he is there to handle everything and anything.

Listening this niyonika said “what you think ok yourself manik? I am fifty-one present partner of Malhotra mansion and you are forty-nine. So iss ghar me wohi rahega jo me chahungi. This girl is going out of the Malhotra mansion.”

Listening this manik become more furious and was about to shout out loud but before he could say something a very commanding and stern voice came from the entrance of Malhotra mansion “Niyonika…..”

And listening this words niyonika become shocked and more than that horrified, as she knew this person can turn her life upside down in a go. She was not at all anticipating him here but then she turn towards entrance and she found Mr. Mukesh Malhotra, her husband and a king of his own territory is standing there furiously looking at her.

When manik and nandini herd their beloved dad’s voice they also saw him standing at entrance and as soon as he look at nandini, she run towards him and flung in his arms crying silently. Mr. Malhotra also took his princess in his arms and rubbed her back lovingly to calm her down.

Niyonika is watching all this with shocked expression as she is not understanding her own husband’s behavior. But she knew her husband very well and before anything goes wrong and things goes out of control she thought of controlling the situation and said “Mr. Malhotra this girl…”

But before she said further Mr. Malhotra said in hard voice “not a word niyonika. You made my princess cry and I also know what you did with manik in past. I was silent because you were out of my children’s life. But not now. My lawyer is coming with divorce papers.”

Niyonika look at him with utmost shocked expression and fear of losing her banker i.e. her husband is visible in her eyes. But before she say something lawyer came with the papers and give it to her. She look at Mr. Malhotra who is now coming towards her and said “sign this papers niyonika. And don’t worry about your give and take policy. As I’m going to give you my ten percent of property of India on behalf of you sign this papers.”

She look at Mr. Malhotra for a while and then manik who were standing a little far away from them and looking at them with blank expression while nandini is standing beside manik holding his hands tightly. She understands that now she can’t do anything about this situation as she is well aware of her husband’s temper and she also knew that this man can do anything for his son.

So she silently sign every papers and then was about to walk out of mansion when Mr. Malhotra said from behind “and ya one more thing Niyonika. Aj k bad tum Malhotra mansion me apna pair bhi nahi rakhogi and that’s final. You may leave now.”

Niyonika stood there for a while listening his words and then storm out of the mansion. After she goes out manik angrily went towards his room and close the door behind him with a loud thud which scared nandini to the core.

But she compose herself and look towards his dada and said in a lower voice “papa” saying this he hugged him and he also hug her back. She can feel the pain his papa is going through right now. She is about to say something when Mr. Malhotra broke the hug and said “I’m fine princess. Tum manik k pas jao. Use tumhari zaroorat hei. I am going farmhouse for today. I will be back tomorrow morning.”

She look at him with teary eyes and tried to say with a lump in her throught “but papa…” but he wipe her tears and kiss he forehead lovingly and said with fatherly concern “don’t worry about me beta. I’ll be fine. I can handle myself. It’s just that I want sometime alone. So bye.”

Saying this he went out of the mansion and she ran towards their room to pacify her life, her manik.
