I walked with Norman down the stairs and he lead me over to his bike and I couldn't help but swallow hard, my eyes going wide. I have never been on the back of one and to be honest they scared me. I could feel my heart in my throat as he looked at me, handing me a helmet. I took it with shaky hands and I could tell that he saw how nervous I was. I swallowed around the lump and slid the helmet on, buckling it underneath my chin. I felt like the strap was digging into me but I knew that it was my paranoia getting to me. Norman rode these all the time and I could trust in him, but what if something happens? Couldn't I throw the bike off without meaning to? What if a driver hits us? You never know what could happen and that is what is driving me crazy and making me very nervous.

"Don't worry," he spoke and tapped the helmet; "I'll keep you safe."

"I know," I spoke, trying to keep the tremors out of my voice and I looked to him, a small smile on his face.

He got on and motioned for me to mount the bike with him, the motor roaring to life as he turned the key into the ignition. The rumbling of the motorcycle caused my heart to almost stop and me to take a deep breath. I reached my arms around his waist and closed my eyes. I sat stiff behind him and I could feel him squeeze my hand before he put it back on the handlebar and took off down the street. The wind whipped past us as we were able to move seamlessly through the traffic. I could feel the smile creeping on my face as I opened my eyes and watched everything pass us by. I wondered where he was taking us but I knew that he would take us someplace that would have very good food. The only thing is that I am a picky person when I came to food, and I just hoped that they had food there that I would like. I shook my head at how stupid I was being. I'm sure it wasn't going to be a lavish place that had foreign food that I could hardly pronounce; Norman just didn't seem the type to just go there unless he was serious and in a relationship with someone.

Norman finally pulled the bike into a parking spot and shut it off and kicking the kickstand down. I got off and began to undo the helmet and pulled it off. I watched as he got off the bike himself, making it all look easy and sexy at the same time. I bit my lip, this time for a different reason as I took in his leather jacket and button down shirt with a black pair of jeans. He looked gorgeous and I wanted to capture how he looked. I wanted to make sure that I could remember it down the road. This man was the epitome of perfect to me. I didn't notice that he was watching me as I took him in or the smirk that sat on his lips as he reached for my hand. That is what broke me out of my thoughts. I took his hand and he pulled me towards the small restaurant, the smells of fried food filling my nose and I couldn't help but groan as my stomach growled loudly; I am sure that he was able to hear it over the sounds of people and cars. My suspicions were confirmed when I heard the smooth chuckle fall from his lips.

"I guess the monster needs to be fed," I said while I chuckled, which caused him to laugh and squeeze my hand.

We entered the restaurant and he led me up to the hostess, dropping my hand and I couldn't help but frown at the loss of contact. I kind of wished that he kept my hand in his because it felt nice and maybe I was daydreaming that he and I were together. I flushed at my own thoughts because it made me feel as if I was a creeper.

"How many?" I heard the hostess ask and he answered her. She led us to a small table and put the menus down on the table. "Your server will be here in a few minutes."

I picked up the menu and flipped it around finding the beverages and I let out a sigh as they only had Coke products. I wasn't much of a Coke fan so I guess I was just going to get water. I was hoping for a soda. I looked up and saw him looking at me with a raised eyebrow and I raised mine back at him.
